Been playing this Local Single: Chat & Friends app for a couple months now. It’s basically a dating app that’s focused on helping you connect with real, local singles. The idea is to make it easier and quicker to actually meet up in person, instead of just chatting forever online.

Here’s what you do: you swipe through local profiles, and if you both like each other, you can start chatting. There’s also a feature where you can see who’s nearby and available to meet up right away. Took me a while to figure that out but it’s pretty useful.

Look, if you’re into dating apps, you’ll probably like this one. It’s not perfect – the app can be a bit buggy sometimes and the matches aren’t always the best quality. But overall, it does the job and it’s worth checking out if you’re looking to meet someone new in your area.

So here's my take on Local Single: Chat & Friends. I've tried a bunch of dating apps and this one is pretty solid, in my experience. The focus on quick, local meetups is a nice change of pace from the usual endless swiping and chatting. The app is easy to use and has a pretty good selection of profiles in my area. But it does have some issues - the matches aren't always the best fit, and I've run into a few bugs here and there. Overall though, I'd say it's worth giving a shot if you want to actually meet up with people, not just talk online forever.
