The app is useful only to lock and unlock doors, other than that when you set a timer for a lock it doesnt work. I dont know what random mode is, notifications are annoying, please include an option to only get notifications when your out of your home or at night when you are asleep. Expected a better app given that the locks are really expensive. Also the wifi hub is horrible, really hard to connect to. Somehow the signal isnt great and the hub is right next to the lock and my wifi router!

The app is clunky and not very easy to use. It's difficult to connect to remotely. I would not buy lockly again if this is not fixed. Still dealing with the app not working and your customer service telling me to unplug and replug the hub. I spent entirely too much money for your locks that do not work. At this point, I would never recommend your locks to anyone.

Love the Lock, APP is very GLITCHY Went 6-8 months without having access to the camera through the app. Couldn't unlock the door remotely. It was a big disappointment. I ultimately gave up on the app entirely until this week when I forgot our password and had to open the app. That is when I noticed it was no longer saying "timed out" with the ring of death, lol. So for now, the app is working, but it is like the weather, very bipolar 🙄

Worked once, updated firmware and now doesn't connect to my phone. Bluetooth is buggy. App is buggy. Gatt exception error!? Idk what that means! Lock never factory resets because all fingerprints remain and codes work. Doesn't matter how many times I push the rest button. Language within the app has an error that says Remove App from phone but what it actually is is the remove this device from your account / phone app. Bluetooth has to be turned off and on for app to see lock each time!

The technology is actually there for this kind of thing, but a little more troubleshooting should have gone in before the release. The Lockly will not add users and "times out" after every attempt. Customer service takes many days to reply and they ask for a tremendous amount of irrelevant information about the purchase so they can avoid having to respond.

Remote access never works. I bought this lock to be able to control it, remitely. Thevapp always gives me an error message stating, "Connection is poor," always. I called several times to have this issue resolved, and it never worked. Updated firm ware all of the instructions i get, and it may have helped ince then back to the same thing again. I would not recommend buying this if the plan is to access the lock remotely.

I really wish this app worked better. The log for the door being opened and closed, when it is unlocked is never up to the minute, or hour, or almost never even the day. It doesn't show when it is locked. Its supposed to know that its locked so why show in the log when its locked. 10 years ago, I had a security system that, as soon as I opened the app, it gave me the current status of my door and locks. I have to refresh several times to get the status. Too much wrong for 500 characters or les

App worked fine until about a week or two ago. Now I get nonstop notifications telling me my door is open when its not and secure mode is on, then secure mode is off, and low battery when the battery level is at 100%. Please fix these issue. My history log show the correct information so that part seems to be working. Not sure what's going on with these notifications.

Take forever to load when it actually does load. Which is only about half the time and I try to use it multiple times a day so it's really close training that half the time it doesn't even work and the other half the time it takes so long to load I'm standing at my door freezing for 15 minutes trying to unlock the stupid thing, because half the time the pin pad on my actual deadbolt doesn't show up . Very disappointed in this purchase and app.

Can not get the wifi to work. I have tried no less than 50 times. Sometimes i get a successful connection when setting up only to have it not work and time out when i use the application on wifi. Other times i get an "UNKNOWN ERROR" when trying to set up. Customer service pretty much gave up and did not offer any kind of explanation or resolution. I was left holding the bag, being told it would be sent to Engineering. Was told they would be able to access the lock and make a better diagnoses.

The app works well for the most part. You can lock or unlock your door from any location where you can connect to the internet. But sometimes there are updates that you're unaware of and then all of a sudden your device is not connected somehow where you can't lock or unlock from the app. But the app is still reading that your door is opening and closing and notifying you. But when you try to reconnect the device to the app using the barcode it doesn't seem to work. Always keep your barcode

Master user has full access to the lock and can un/lock via app. Everyone else needs a key or passcode to use. Even "trusted" names are hobbled. I had hoped to add my family as app users, but all they see is the lock status. What good is bluetooth/wifi if only the master can use it? I bet no one sets more than one passcode as the app is useless and who wants to track all the family. Overpriced gadget that really under delivers. Only the master can use the app to unlock. The app does what it's supposed to, but it could be more responsive and a little better designed. The account system takes a bit to understand for those wanting multiple admins. I've also noticed that there is a noticeable delay now in actual entry and the notifications to the point that if someone Were trying to break in, then they'd likely Be in or gone by the time I knew about it (if I wasn't near the door). The wifi bridge is really weak signal wise as well, so maybe that's the issue.

Very happy with this product. Simple install and easy to operate. I love the finger print scanner. I had an issue with the screen outside with the numbers fading out making the key pad unusable. I reached out to customer service and they were very quick to address my issue. Great customer service!

The log isn't accurate, several alerts for access aren't tracked in the log. Also, each user should have an individual log so you can see when they have accessed the lock w/in their user account. You cannot change the duration of a guest account once you've entered it. This is problematic since sometimes a guest will want to stay for an additional day. Their user acct will expire and you'll have to create a new w a new access code. Unnecessary. Also, one of the locks died the first week. 👎

The auto-lock feature is always on, even if I turn it off in the app. The fingerprint access is very finicky and often requires multiple attempts. Additionally, using the device in the rain always leaves me soaked. I don’t typically use the keypad, but others have been able to unlock it when the fingerprint feature isn’t working. Currently, the device's firmware won't update. Overall, if I could retire this device, I would, but it’s too expensive to replace immediately.

The app, & the lock look very good, & I can connect the app to the lock. However where it seems to fail is with the wifi connection, or wifi hub that connects to it doesn't work. I tried it 25-30 times different ways, so exhausting, its garbage. The reason I bought this was so I can monitor, & control access remotely. Waste of time, & feel it's a rip off for them to have a feature that doesn't work in the real world. I have wifi cameras, & wifi thermostat, that don't have this problem.

This has been a terrible experience with Lockly so far. I've paid a lot of money to supposedly have the "best" lock and totally regret it. My Lockly Secure Pro beeps CONSTANTLY(every 3 minutes). I've put fresh batteries in so that's not the issue. I have not been able to get their customer service on the phone, however, they did respond to email but their troubleshooting tips still haven't worked. Avoid this lock until they fix their products.

App worked well for a little over a year. Now I get continuous "your door is locked" notifications even when the door is unlocked. The app stopped working and will not stop sending me erroneous notifications. Firmware update did not help at all. Not sure what happened but I can't use my lock without a key now. Waiting for Lockley Support to assist. App is add-free.

For the app to work, you need to allow Lockly to access your phones sensitive data such as, manage phone calls, camera, location, microphone, storage. I repeat, without granting Lockly access to your very private data on your phone, you can't use the app, which means you can't use many of the locks features. If I can't access the app for the features on this $400 Vision lock then I am better off returning it and getting a cheaper brand lock that does the same and a separate camera.
