My cell was badly hacked. Got a Norton-Lifelock subscription. The tech supervisor walked me through the process using this rescue + app. So far my cell works perfectly. Re Norton: if you're hopelessy hacked like Ive been, paying for the Norton 360 Ultimate Plus program helped. BUT at first I was getting nowhere. Nice techs but they didn't know how to fix the problem at all. Asked for a supervisor. He was great, helped a LOT, transfered call to the next tech-also great. Will update in future

I'm trying to deactivate this app. I dont want it on my phone. I could not connect when HP made me install it to try and fix my printer. I want the app deleted but when I try to first deactivate it, I get an error message that says to deactivate before uninstalling. Its messing up mu phone. Please help!

I was told to download this app because there was a credit card charge on one of my credit cards. I got an email and it stated that there was a charge of $500 something dollars and to call the number on the invoice and they had me download this app and go into my accounts chime and PayPal and during this conversation I realized that this was a scam and I hung up so please be careful who you download this with make sure it's with your real financial company.

Stupid app used just to spy and watch what we do. Don't install this app, if you need help with anything for Samsung Motorola phone when you call customer service they send you to the app store to download that app which is just horseshit!. If you do end up downloading free reason onto your phone make damn sure you go back and delete it it's useless!

It states on the app that it should not be used except by a professional technical support engineer. I am hoping that Norton is able to use it to fix my phone. Technical support gives you the code. When works with professionals write down all information on paper. So if you have forgotten while they're helping you. You can see it. You have a record of it. also keep your reference number for that time on paper too. This way you can give it to the technical support engineer to look back on

Chap is allowing a hack or malware to decide whether Norton 360 can work. Or not, it's also preventing me from having a safe home and a safe life without protecting my smart home security. Thank you for such a wonderful rescue.

I ask for help recovering a crypto account number. Instead of helping me with that, they directed me to another crypto account and asked me to transfer coin for them. Don't use this app.

Scam alert! This app was used by a scammer that told me my amazon account had suspicious activity and in order to "get refunded" I needed to download this app. Then they asked for my bank account info but hung up when I refused.

They want someone that I don't even know to access my phone just to cancel a roku subscription.No thank you!!

I had to replace my old phone and get the app installed on my new phone. The agent who installed the app on my new phone told me that I was getting an upgrade. As it turned out, problems with the new app make it more of a downgrade. The review guidelines suggest listing positives and drawbacks: Positives - None Drawbacks - 1) The newer version has less functionality than the previous version. 2) The newer version interferes with other apps. The old version is an upgrade compared to the new.

I'll try to keep this short. I'm on a call with hp. After several requests to go remote from the tech i relented but red flag he wanted to see what I was telling him (what lights were lit on the printer & repeat the same proccess we just did a dozen times. He disappeared for a couple min. Came back & suddenly he couldnt hear me? I hung up & could not delete this app. Then suddenly I was able to. Time to watch my accounts damit.

m Emmett Omar took $350 out of my bank account I was calling trying to cancel a subscription to peacock my bank said there was nothing I can do about it.

For me it was pretty good, however the only thing is that the app can bug often when you're using it. It'll look like your technician is typing but won't actually show what they type and won't let you type either. You have to be constantly refreshing app for it to work. First go around my chat was ended because I couldn't see what they said and wasn't letting me type anything, just as a heads up for anyone else.

BEWARE OF THIS APP!!! IT'S USED BY SCAMMERS. A scammer just tried to use this on me in my attempt to cancel my Microsoft 365 personal subscription. They asked me to download it so they can look at my screen and "walk me through the cancellation". I was also asked to go to the AMEX website and buy a gift card "in order to get a refund for the subscription to my card & also in order to delete the card from the system", otherwise I'll still be charged. Both Microsoft & Amex have been notified!

This app has been used twice in an effort to scam my personal data and information. I'm not sure if larger companies actually use this app, but there is a PayPal scam with the rescue app that happened today. There's no way with the app itself to vet anyone out?! Seems like with an app that's granting 3rd party access to your phone's info, it would have some real security that helps its users...

I was dirrected to this app by a large tech protection company. I never understood it and I have more problems with it meaning more alerts of scams, with no explanations. Also, people from, supposedly the company Who said to use this are calling from other countries and obviously not English speakers. THIS ONE IS NOT FOR ME.

Scam Alert! Appears this app is being used by scammers. I called a 1-800 Microsoft customer service # that I got from an online search. I think it was a scammer who gained access to my phone through this app claiming they were "helping" me solve my Mocrosoft issue. They wanted me to check my bank account (while on the phone), claiming my accounts had been breached. Of course the was a red flag and the call was ended.

technician was very professional, she successfully helped me go through my request to remo ve apps I wanted to delete.

I'm tired of having to update this every other month...right now I have not been able to put my receipts in for over a week now .😡😵‍💫😥 and I probably have 20 or 30 waiting as I to be added to my account.

As a tech who supports hundreds of clients online this is a fantastic application for me to connect to my clients device and help them with their support needs. I see many negative reviews due to scams. These reviews should NOT reflect on this app. Just like any other tool, it can be used for good or evil. You must protect yourself from scammers by only working with remote techs you trust. Some of us are good guys actually here to help.
