I see why there are a lot of 1-star reviews. This app's dev team might benefit from user acceptance testing. Closing the app while an order is active with a coupon code entered caused the code to remain stuck on that order. Reloading the app makes you start a new order, so the code is no longer usable, though it will still be shown on the account to tease you. Was looking forward to trying out that fish sandwich but it will have to wait til that first order times out I guess.

If you order in the app and try to pick up at the drive thru, they tell you that you must come inside for pick up and their reasoning is "because we've had people steal orders through the drive thru." If you go inside, the orders are sitting on a shelf, unattended, that anyone can take without showing any ID or anything. So it is obviously not a security issue. It would be safer to get it at the drive thru where you must give a name for the order, so their excuse makes no sense. It is a lie.
They have an offer for free individual fries with a $5 purchase. Offer ends 7/06. Ive done this offer once about a month ago. Ive been through the menu loads of times. They removed the individual fries from the menu so they don't have to give out free fries! Ive taken screenshots. And just an FYI I don't need to update the app. Terrible scam!
As much as I enjoy the food, the app & website for this place is very poor. The entire rewards system is broken, and I've never gotten what I've earned. They have a section for order history that is always blank, so there's no way to track what rewards I'm supposed to have. Even after placing an order, and weeks after picking it up, the app will still say they are preparing an order that doesn't even show up in the order history. There's also basically nothing on the offers page. Needs revamp.
Offers in the app become invalid once applied EVEN if you don't check out and do not use it in check out!!! I created an order and applied the correct "offer" to the order, which was reflected in the checkout total. Decided to wait until after the lunch crowd thinned out a little, reopened the app about 20 minutes later, and the order was GONE! So, I created exactly the same order, and when I tried to apply the "offer" discount, the app said, "Invalid, offer applied in another order"...SMH!🤬
1. Requires credit card entry - no option for payment providers like Google Pay, PayPal, etc. 2. Received cookie notification popups while trying to make payment. 3. Vague response that order had been placed. No order #. Nothing in order history. 4. Store gave me someone else's order when I picked up. Terrible experience from start to finish. That's what I get for giving 2nd chances. ;)
I have had multiple issues using this app. Today I added items to my cart and then applied the related coupon at checkout, no issue at first. I went to another tab to reply to a text. This caused the Long Johns app to crash. So I reopened the app to find my order wiped out. So I added everything to my cart again. This time when checking out, I kept getting an error message when adding the coupon, that it was already in use on another order. I cleared my cache and data, same result. Sigh...
Really unimpressed with the app. First time downloading, there should have been a reward available, there was not. Also the only way to get rewards is through the app only, you can't scan a receipt or give the cashier a code that allows you to use coupons or get points. And when I tried to create an order in the app that should have earned me a freebie, it said it didn't qualify. Not worth the space it takes up on my phone, so I'm uninstalling it.
Hot mess of an app. I have to delete and enter my card info EVERY time I go to place an order because it sticks on the card selection screen. This apparently is an ongoing problem as there are reports of it in other reviews going back several months. The "Special Instructions" box is a joke, you can put 20ish characters in there at most. I'm currently not impressed, they need to do better as there are far less frustrating food apps out there.
awful. from beginning to end. The reward program is a bait and switch - so far, I have attempted to redeem 3 rewards. none work. so that's useless. the system supposedly allows you to save a credit card - no, it doesn't. it forgets them every time you go more than 24 hours without logging in. no digital wallets are supported. the stores get SUPER angry if you order, don't see the sauces in the app, then ask for them once you get there. just really half assed.
