I didn't use this app as intended with customizable workouts. However, I used its graphing portion that shows you how much weight you've lost or gained in the month. Just putting daily inputs in and constantly looking at it pushed me to eat less junk and work out. So I can confidently say in the last year I have lost close to 75 pounds.

This app keeps you accountable. Everyday, it'll remind you not only to workout but hydrate. I've set goals and it shows my progress and tells the truth... that I got big as hell. But now I'm a month and a half in and down 13 pounds using this app and coupled with a strict diet. You can't come up with an excuse if you're able bodied, to dedicate 20-30 minutes a day. You just can't. Get out of your own way....ITS BIG DOG SEASON!
Awesome! I'm 59 years old and have severe arthritis in my hands, wrists and shoulders, but I was still able to do most of the exercises with no problems. Finally got down to 170lbs. after years of yo-yoing. Lose 10 gain 20, etc...but by tweaking my diet and the 30 day challenge I saw immediate results that first week. I highly recommend this app. You can always substitute any exercises with easier options if they are too hard.
EDITED AFTER MONTHS OF USE... Really good app for workouts without equipment. I need this due to biz travel and don't always have a gym. It customizes to your needs (like knee issues for me) and then slowly intensifies over time. You can adjust along the way to make harder or easier. The workouts are time sensitive too. Typically around 20-25 minutes which includes warmup. 3 reps of multiple targeted exercises, and a cool down. It also syncs with apps and trackers. Great workout tool!
This app is great. You can adjust to your level at the start. And if you feel like it's too easy or difficult, you can adjust on the go. No annoying ads while you're doing the workout. If you're unsure how to do a certain exercise. It has youtube videos in the app to show you exactly how it's done. It keeps track of the duration of your workout, calories burned, weight, BMI, exercises during workout, and you can sync to google fit. And best of all, it's free.
This app is currently helping me drop a bit of weight tbh, its nice and simple for us guys, it has plenty of adjustable options, so if your in an apartment, there are quiet but effective exercise routines, and there are skip options if there are just exercises you don't think you can do, But you can! If you get this app all the exercises are so able just believe in yourself!
I've been using the app for about 2 months now supplementing my lifting workout with the app workout a few days a week. It's a really good core workout (intermediate) even though I haven't really played with the options much. Since I only use it a few times a week, I'm just now approaching the end of the 30-days and am not sure what I will do at the end as I haven't seen the options yet. Overall, I like the workouts and the options to do it at your own pace and have seen and felt results.
So far so good, been at it about a week. Each session is about 20 minutes if you include warm up, which I recommend. You set your goals and experience level and the app does the rest. It also gives you recommendations on things you can do to amp up exercises that seem too easy. It also lets you report if you have any injuries and it will shape the workout to avoid your injured parts I break a good sweat and feel like I've done a good workout . Will update if my opinion changes.
To be honest this is probably the best lose weight app. This app has so much options to choose from if you wants to go light you can go light if you want to go hard you can go hard. I was weighing in about 248 and I am now at 242 within 4 weeks with this app and a little bit of dieting. The app is very well made and it has the best workouts possible with stats to show how much calories burnt. Thank you leap fitness group and I will be continuing my journey.
First day and I'm out of breath. Totally awake up call on how out of shape I am. I'm glad that download this app to help me get started, on a healthier path, by excersizing at a novice level. 😊 I'm sure it will get better with more exercises as I progress each day. Editable and Straightforward It can always use more types of individual exercises, of course, but it already has quite a lot. Adding a note about how many extra calories each type of exercise (relatively) burns and degree of difficulty was a good improvement, which is what they did since my original review, showing that they actually listened to their reviews and improved the app.
Highly recommended. Easy to choose your level of fitness. Ads are not annoying like most apps. Look forward to sticking with it. Update! I'm starting my fourth month, at 91 sessions, and I've lost over 15lb. Noom is a huge help with mental dieting too. But I couldn't be anymore happier with what I've achieved with this app. I don't believe you can do it 30 days. But you can most definitely do it if you stick with it. *****Update**** 4 years deep and will never stop. Just Do It!
I've thought about getting healthy for over two years, and have been frustrated by all the conflicting research. I got this app a week ago, and decided I just need to DO something already. After 4 workouts that are 6 min, I am already seeing gains in my mobility! I don't pay for anything on this app. It tries really hard to get you to buy something after you enter your body info. Just X out of it all, close the app if you have to. Beginner workouts and more are instantly available for free.
Really depends on your commitment to the app and the level you are on when it comes to it. But ultimately I've had results after two months where I've improved my strength and workouts seem easier. Probably on par with any paid apps in my opinion but like all apps, you need the commitment. Start with the easier 30 day training and work your way up, it's really not hard to give 10 minutes of your day. Just pass the mental block and follow through with the guides, you'll see results.
This app builds a workout plan tailored to your needs and guides you through every workout. It has helped me get back into working out after a long hiatus (due to rasing small kids) and best of all I've done all it's been free. It has some paid features, which I've never used, but everything you really need to get back into your fitness journey is free of payment or advertising.
fantastic free resource for anybody looking to start their fitness journey. They also have some paid features if you would like the additional support. All in all, I think it's fantastic for people who are out of shape, looking to try an entry level way into fitness before hitting the gym, or maybe even a returning fitness enthusiast who wants to start things off slow. either way, I can't praise this app enough. only thing that they could improve on is maybe adding a few more stretches.
Worked for me! But it takes more than 30 days to see result. You should keep a healthy diet too. I would've rated 5 stars if difficulty could be adjusted according to muscle groups. Some exercises are too difficult for an intermediate. Yes, you can adjust/choose exercises each day but one has to do it everyday to match their routine. Overall, good experience!
Honestly, the app is a good option for someone who prefers to train without an actual human trainer. My biggest issue with the app is that the full range of exercises isn't available when building custom workouts. The 30-day challenge was a nice intro, but after that, I want to build my workout my way. Just add the full range of exercises available in the AI directed workout mode to the custom workout builder and I would give this app 5 stars and renew my subscription.
Great, easy, cheap app to give basic workouts to keep me engaged. Exercises can be changed if an area is hurting or I want to focus on something else. I forgot to add to the initial review that this app "calculates" how long it will take you to get to your target weight but gives zero guidance on dieting or other exercising required outside of app to reach goal. Maybe I'll get there someday, but not just using this app. I still like it for the small workouts provided though.
