This app has given me some great exercises to do at home when I can't go to the gym. I like that there are other workouts to do aside from the main plan it gives you. In short, this app is ver efficient and helpful. As far as weight goes, when I do maintain the workouts I loose about 10 pounds for 2 and a half weeks. Of course, this is paired with running/walking and watching what I eat. Overall, I've had a great experience 👍
Reviews for Lose Weight App for Women
← Back to Lose Weight App for WomenI like that I get breaks between the exercises. I can skip the breaks or add to them. The exercises have been doable yet challenging. Each day has been different. The exercises are broken down into manageable chunks. Afterwards I rate them. So far I've rated them just right. I think they would change according to my rating. The app reminds me to drink. It's encouraging. I'm on day 4 of a 30 day challenge.
Excellent fitness app! I love this app because it's not meant to kill you. It's perfect for people getting back into a workout routine and want to ease into it. The workout are short and the exercises are not terribly hard. It's meant to get your body moving, not hurting for days. I normally run through the daily workout twice. I also love the feature that allows me to edit the workout so I can replace an exercise that may not fit my body. Try this app if you are easing back in.
Perfect for creating the habit of working out everyday. I have the free version so you do have to watch an ad to unlock the 20min. For starting out it is great. Also I like the replace feature. Normally if I need to swap a move I have to think of it during the work out which breaks my concentration. So it's great that I can adjust it ahead of time and just do it.
Absolutely wonderful. The ads aren't nearly as pushy as I usually expect for a free app. Great exercises I feel are pretty easy to pick up. The only things I wish could be added/ improved: 1) During these crazy quarantine times, it's really hard to get a hold of a lot of exercise gear. Maybe a selection before you start that filters whether you have equipment or not? 2) I have lower back pain, and bicycle crunches hurt to do. Again, a selection before beginning a plan to filter for back pain?
I was overweight and concerned about my body. I had tried many different apps that also claimed to be a "30 day progress" but we're un succesful. This app gave me solid information on what I should be doing and it's helped a lot. Along with this app.i have officially lost 50 ib in the matter of 3 months (including eating healthy and frequent visits to the gym). I really recommend this app for someone trying to start out and in need of help.
Love that I can edit the exercises based off of what I can currently do (like avoiding jumping exercises aince I live upstairs lol) and you can increase the rest time if you need to or skip it if you think you don't need it. It doesn't take long and absolutely nothing besides your own body is necessary in order to do these exercises. It also tells you some modifications for different difficulty levels for some of the exercises. Love that it shows you how to do the exercises. It's great. Love it!
This app, overall, is amazing! I recently got it (1-11-2025) and the app gives you a little quiz to see how much you weigh, your height, what you want with your workouts, and even gives you the option to get notifications to drink water! Aside from the expensive monthly subscription, which I'm surprised about since this app is awesome, I find it easy to use and fun to use! Plus, the adds aren't even all that invasive, and I never get them WHILE working out! Love it!
After being prompted for a free 7-day trial, I accepted but then decided I didn't like the app and quickly canceled the same day. I was still charged the yearly price before said trial was even over, and as I said, I had canceled it before the seven days were up. I've emailed the developer email and still haven't heard back. There also isn't an option in the app to check your paid plans and is overall misleading about the free trial.
I've only completed one workout and am encouraged to keep going. I'm starting at ground zero with my fitness and have physical challenges due to past injuries. Most apps don't allow me to choose a very low level to begin. I was also pleasantly surprised that I could mix and match exercises to cater to my physical limitations. This one did, which makes me excited to continue and progress to higher levels of fitness. I feel hopeful beginning this plan.
Being in quarantine was driving me mad. I'm in the gym 3-4 times a week, so not being able to go was really starting to take its toll. This little app is so handy. You can combine workouts if you want for a whole experience or you can simply do something light if you don't have much time. Reminds you to drink water, keeps you on track, and overall makes sure you're getting your exercise in. Great app!
It's really nice and easy to use, the display is cute and I've not had any issues with lag or glitches, ads are minimal and don't get in the way, it's easy to switch between programs while maintaining your progress in each and there's a good variety of exercises both full body options and more spot specific choices as well. I've used the app for a few years and it's been great and consistent! Edit: I forgot you can also edit the workouts if there are any exercises you can't (or dont want to) do
3 stars because this could work for some people and there are a lot of positives. The water tracker, the ability to customize your workout, the rest periods and most of the text to voice is good. However, I have to say that it was really frustrating that I couldn't pause or restart an exercise. I pressed Go not realizing it would start me right away and I had to close. But the app still counted it as a completed work out. Please add a pause or restart ft
I love that it's free. I don't need to pay for self motivated work outs. I don't love that it took me to an online page to do my quiz, and especially don't like being asked for money after I've given my personal info. But once I clicked back to the app, it had my workout program ready for free! Exercises are easy to follow. It tells you what's next during the rest time. The stretches are in the session so you don't have to stretch so much at the end. No overwhelming adds or videos .
Great workout! First day back to exercising after a long while. It was a little challenging but doable and not too much. I feel really good. I'm not bothered by the ads. Barely even noticed them truthfully. And I'm using the free version of this app. For those saying they were charged you have to pay attention. When the window pops up with billing info you just exit out and it takes you back to starting the free version. Great workout app!
Update: You can skip all the payment prompts and access for free. Look for the TINY X! Note for self: Let's you do a questionnaire, then prompts you to pay ~$60 per year to access the app. Or you can do a free trial for a few days. BUT WAIT! If you just wait for 10 seconds on this screen, it'll lower the price to ~$30 per year. HOWEVER, there's a catch. This offer only lasts 2 minutes. It'll put a 2 minute timer on the screen to pressure you into buying before the deal goes away. No ty for now!
Well, I'm only one day in but I like it! I didn't press start and arrowed through so I didn't get the exact time and k cals..it says, "great job, you worked for 0.8 seconds and burned 3 calories!" I 😂 realized afterwards there's a start button that counts rep's and break's for water! Very Nice! The app works but I gotta put in the work! Depression and anxiety suck but I've got a good feeling, this is going to help in more ways than one...with persistence. I need! 🤍🙏🤍 Thanks for the app!
I've been using this app on and off for years. I love it, out of all the fitness apps I've used and I've used a lot. the one thing I wish they would expand is to Include a variety of warm ups / cool downs. for example a generalized one, one for cardio, one for biking, and other kinds of specialized for specific activities. they really only have the morning warm up which works for a warm up but I'd like more veriaty. as far as I know they don't have any cool downs.
This app is great! It let's you put a reminder for when you want to work out, and it also tracks how much water you have drank and how many you need. It also shows you diffrent work outs for your stomach, bottom, arms, ect. It's very helpful and I've only done 4 days so far and I already see changes! I would defenetly recommend this app. You also don't have to pay for anything except if you want to get rid of ads. It also has so much more amazing things!
Straight forward. Can set the pace. Not too hard so keeps me on the momentum to do each day. You can add as many sessions if you want to exercise more. No gimmicks.....yet. have to watch ads to get more exercise sessions but that's OK for a free exercise app. The other apps lead you in, getting your email and info but then just when you think you get the app...you have to pay. At least this app works without fooling you into a subscription commitment
