You finally get accepted... £25+ a week to use the app, what a joke. I guess Hinge is still the one.
Reviews for Lox Club - Jewish Dating App
← Back to Lox Club - Jewish Dating AppGreat app. Good quality people. -1 star because notifications experience on Android isn't great. I wish I got reminders to see my new batch.
Super unique and personal opportunies!!! This is different than every other dating app! It is new, yet, has the potential for so much. It is an actual human creating these matches which is pretty incredible.
Unless you live in NYC or LA this app is useless. You still have to pay even if you don't live in an area with people. So I'm paying them to build up my city? No thanks. Tried to use the "roast my profile" for $5. Haven't received a response for weeks. tl;dr plenty of other dating apps that don't cost $30+ / 3 months.
It's a decent app that seems to be adding things every so often. The biggest issue I have right now is that notifications don't work. I'm on a Pixel 3 with the latest version (yes I've tried re-downloading)
Not worth it first I waited on wait list for months them once I was let in I was given a free trial and then once that expired was asked to pay to continue to use it.
After 3 weeks on the app I have not made one match, and unlike other dating apps you cannot communicate with anyone directly unless they like you, greatly reducing the chances of a match. I have complained several times and asked for my money back, I have either received no answer or been told by the company they do not know how to get a refund on an Android. What a rip off, if the founders wanted to raise money they should have done crowd funding not launched a dating app that matches no one!
BS. They are not open in my area, won't refund my money and when you push cancel membership the app does nothing. What a rip off. Do not recommend.
The app doesn't work and it's impossible to find more than one person who lives in Seattle and I live in Florida. Useless. Get your act together or delete the app. Complete waste of time.
Lags alot. Bad costumer service. Membership free is nice but are always pushing for you to go to pay to attend events. Questions about who veets members since they seem to be mainly young college students more often, doesn't match up with their highstandards slogan.
not worth getting. why the hell do I need to send a stupid verification code to the Instagram account and when I do it states the same thing of make you send the code when I am sending the stupid code.
No filters for location or religion. They charge for basically every feature after you pay for your subscription. And... Yeah, not getting many matches, it's just Hinge but worse and more expensive.
Biggest waste of money. First, the app doesn't allow you to set any preferences, except age range; if I knew this from the beginning I never would have signed up - don't need to see guys in PA, when I live in CA. Second, the interface is awful - simply by scrolling, I accidentally reported about 5 people. Third, the app tells me daily that it's out of options - really, then why'd it take you a week to approve my profile? And finally, the hottest guy on the app is the founder. What's his #?
The app is currently not working and stalls out with a picture of a tablet on the screen that is not rotating and has been like this for 2 days. I'm paying for something I can't even use or get matches...WOW Somebody help!!!!
Great idea, unfortunetly there are very few people on this, even in the biggest cities like NYC, so you are shown people 1,000 miles away with no way to change that (as of late 2021). Also there is no way to delete your account. Seriously, no button. You have to contact them... and of course they don't reply, now trying a second time to delete my account. Its clear they won't delete accounts. More pain than it's worth.
When I signed up, first I had to get "accepted" into the 'club' and then they make you pay a ton of money to be on the app. Okay, fine. But they limit the amount of likes that you can send per day (8 people) and you get 0 matches. Terrible app and when I attended a few events, there were a lot of people who did not show up and it was not good. They were holding a matchmaker "event" and then proceeded to email me the price of the event. Quoted me at $3,500 for matchmaking. I wouldn't recommend.
I loved the idea, but the experience has been disappointing. Not worth joining if you're not in NY, LA, or Miami. That's where 95% of folks have been located, and none of them are near where I am. Also seems like they're ALL in real estate, the law, or real estate law. These are not the people I would end up talking to for hours at a party. There's other stuff I would do differently, but if the app had my people in my area they wouldn't bug me. Since it doesn't, my days on this app are numbered.
Cool idea. App UX is good. Little buggy but to be expected because it's new. User base seems unique. I believe in the mission/vision but it feels like another swipe right and ghost type app. My experience has been matching with a lot of people but no one conversates or responds. All ghosts which is shocking for an invite only pay app. You would think people would be more invested. Anyways, hoping they're able to fix this in their vetting. I'll stick around to see where it goes.
Still needs work. I had to change my city from a major tech hub for it to start working. I can't screenshot my own profile nor any other apps while it's open without getting a warning. Closing out completely to screenshot another app is a red flag. No clue how it compares to other dating apps.
Most of the profiles are of women on the other end of the country. There needs to be a better way to filter out women you can't start something with because of distance
