Been using LP Old English for a couple months now. It’s basically a game where you build up your village and raid other players. Pretty solid app if you’re into strategy games.
Here’s what you do: there’s a ton of vocabulary and grammar levels that test your Old English skills. You gotta translate words back and forth between modern and Old English. And it’s got some Beowulf levels too which is pretty cool. And there’s a continuous multiple choice quiz that reinforces what you learn – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.
Look, if you’re into learning languages or just love strategy games, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the ads can be annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.

So here's my honest take on LP Old English. I've tested a bunch of language learning apps and this one's pretty solid. The vocabulary and grammar drills are challenging but not impossible, and I like how it mixes in Beowulf content. And the quiz feature is great for reinforcing what you learn. On the downside, it can get a bit repetitive after a while and the higher level upgrades take forever. But for a free app, it's definitely worth a download if you're into Old English or just want to sharpen your language skills.

Definitely worth the $2. Great for vocab but also super helpful for learning paradigms (and significantly more engaging than just memorizing a chart).
A very nice tool with a lot of data
Pronoun paradigms would be great! I also liked the black background better, would be nice to be able to change it manually. Anyway it's still great.
