Play/Pause Button is still buggy, has to be tapped multiple times to even work...and there is no audio when scrubbing through the timeline, only playback. Stuff like this needs to be addressed in a $30 app that wants to be Android's premium video editor. Instead, LumaTouch added a subscription service with basic features that should be included with the cost of the app itself. Y'all need to do better guys, you're losing me to Adobe Premiere on WINDOWS and that is an extremely bad sign.
Reviews for LumaFusion: Pro Video Editing
← Back to LumaFusion: Pro Video EditingAmending my review since I previously complained about the lack of 10-bit editing and HDR in-app options since I use this app to compliment my MotionCam RAW videos and log outputs, meaning it's coming close to a full experience since they did add it! Now we just need in-app video noise reduction (Luma/Chroma Denoising or perhaps Spatial/Temporal denoising?) as well as stabilization. If they add that however, it would be the most incredible android editor, bar none. Keep up the great work!
It was working well although very slow on Android. Since version 2.3 it crashes all the time. Up to 20 times whilst making a simple 4 minute video. It got so bad I uninstalled it and then it last all my projects and saved assets, so annoying and unforgivable for a paid for app.
Need application optimization when editing video files from external drives (SDCARDS).. Long loading.. Spend time... please update
Problems mentioned in a previous review turned out to be user error. This software is awkward to use on mobile as it feels like it is meant to be used on desktop, but the things you can do in LumaFusion are indeed pretty epic! You can really play with your editing and get very professional results. Worth it! But be prepared for a truly annoying learning curve.
Close as you can get to a desktop video editing software for your phone. Pretty good! Stability-wise, it can get rough but if you're used to Adobe Premiere Pro and it's buggy and corrupting-file goodness, then it's not so bad. I understand that the Android version is behind the iOS version for many reasons, but I expected the Stabilizer feature to be out by now considering there's been talks about its development for quite a while. Disappointingly, it is not. Any news on its release?
On Android, it has a long way to go. Even on the most powerful Samsung Galaxy 10 Ultra, it's not a very good performer. its use of RAM is poor. it's a resource hogger. My machine only has LumaFusion running. its buggy and clunky, constantly lags and creates a lot of issues when editing. they will tell you it's like this on complex time lines. however, the reality is that even with just a soundtrack and a few 4k videos, it is clunky. it does not support the ability to attach a NAS.
this app sucks . you saying it's pro . but few basic very basic things are missing which you can easily do with free editor apps . i want my refund
it glitches and crashes even on Snapdragon 8 gen 3, but I still love it since I used it on iOS and it was fine but currently on my poci f7 pro it stops responding sometimes.
Great app I'm always abit worry when an update comes out as there's often bugs in the updates but for most of the time it's an awesome I had a bug with the preview screen when editing the audio but the developers fix it It would be really awesome to have a toggle to turn off the (what's happening) notification every time the app opens 👏
very bad enterface not working properly. there is not any option to select background music, voice, we need to paid more for it. very bad some free app provide more from it.
Great at so many things that other apps can't do that it's genuinely impressive. Awful at the most basic things, mainly stability and performance (probably optimization or over optimization) that it's sickening to use. But I paid for it so I'm gonna keep using it and hope it gets better or at least more usable *2.5 stars isn't an option so i went lower •_•
I thought getting an S23+ Ultra would have this app running smoother than it does on my older tablet. It's still bad. I am one of many who regret buying this. I cut an audio clip and pasted it on the timeline. Whenever I play that clip on the timeline, it plays a DIFFERENT part of the audio. Sometimes it's slightly ahead of where I cut it. Sometimes, it lags behind. You won't know exactly where your audio clip was cut until you export it. Too many other bugs to mention in just 500 characters.
Totally unusable. Only used it once. A nightmare. I was expecting it to be as good or better than Kinemaster but not even close. But I'm not going to pay $120 a year for KM. I couldn't even make a minute long video with this app I had to go download power Director. Was up and running in minutes. Lumafusion is the Worst money I ever spent. Can I get my money back?
App has great potential, but unfortunately, it falls short. Constantly freezes up and occasionally crashes during editing. Thankfully, current edits are saved when this happens. The biggest issue is that videos lose all of their color saturation during uploading, making near black and white videos. Over saturation helps reduce this problem, but creates a lot of extra work. Having to do this to every clip and then it still doesn't eliminate the problem, only lessens it.
Exactly what I expected - a fully featured multi-track video editor that allows me to cut and edit 4k video right on my phone. I've only been using it for a day, but it's working very well for me. I haven't run into any issues with exported video either (as some other reviewers have mentioned). Maybe the latest version has fixed the issue. Lots of features. Allows me to color grade and apply various filters besides the basic multi-track editing support.
This was a pretty good editor. Today though I cannot do anything with my fingers, the touch is not registering hardly at all, I had to start using my stylus in order to actually edit anything... For this price of an app nothing should be going wrong... There's also a few odd issues they have in here such as the sound always linking to whatever video is above it. So if you're trying to keep music whilst editing a video it'll always mess up the audio.
I bought this app to replace another app on my Android device. it worked well for almost a year, and it just started crashing all the time. Projects would would just disappear. Worst part, I'd completely edit a video, go to write it and after about 95% completion, an error message would pop up and I cannot complete the project. Spoke with reps through email alto try a couple things. Last email was to inform them I could not upload to their server for them to see what could be done. No response.
This is the worst app I have ever used. Bugs all over. Play button frequently doesn't work unless it's tapped about 7 times. thumbnails don't update when changes are made. The video player goes black CONSTANTLY. Practically impossible to use. Exports are totally broken with frozen frames and color space errors. It is totally unuseable. After several hours of trial and error, I give up. The absolute worst Android app I have EVER used.
The studio is very capable and the editing tools are very useful, but for whatever reason, it tends to lag and stutter the more time I spent in the app, and when I decided to update, the stuttering starts immediately now and makes the app almost unuseable. I know it's not my phone because everything else runs smoothly. Please fix, this editor is really really good, and costed a chunk of my money.
