This also has many different color shades for bringing out details you wouldnt other wise see . Download . You will be amazied . As an amateur astronomer, I find Lunar HD a great adjunct with my observing sessions. Much better than a paper map. Finding a particular lunar feature with the search feature is a snap. Will enjoy looking at the moon much more now. Indispensable.

I loved the lite version, so I purchased the HD version too. No doubt it is amazing! But the main reason for which I purchased the HD version was that I wanted to see the terminator in real time, which comes across as a bland thin outline over the moon in this app...it was a disappointment. I had expected that the terminator would actually divide the moon into night and day halves.. Request the developers to show the exact phase of the moon in real time, that would be amazing!!
