Installed this app and uninstalled it after it wouldn't track without allowing permission for Alarms & Reminders. I will not allow that permission simply for the fact that Alarms & Reminders override the Do Not Disturb setting. I do not want to be disturbed when I am on sleeper birth. Edit: If the permission is only used to wake up the app, and not to send any audible alarms, maybe explicitly state that on the page that asks for the permission. I have no problem with it if that's the case.

Anyone that uses these tracking apps is a coward. Stop crying and just refuse their loads. If no one takes their loads, these spy apps will disappear. You drivers are a bunch of cigarettes. NO TRACKED LOADS!
I think all of these different tracker apps are stupid. I'll get there when I get there edit. so if that is the point, why do I still get phone calls about eta even though im using the app?
The driver does not have any control over this app. Brokers abuse your phone, waking you up at night, disturbing your rest whenever they want..... it's a broker app. Don't fool yourself that this is for you drivers this is for them, to make them easy to do to you whatever they want and when they want, to make their job easy.... that they can do it from the bed or from a pool, without any little bit respect for drivers
micropoint is the best tracking app out there all the rest you have to go into the app and do too much was micropoint very simple and easy one click and that's all
Expected to be put on personal phones by most companies. Yet you have no way of knowing who is viewing your info and when. The only way to turn it off is text stop. Next use. Reinstall program until it's not needed again. Waste of data. Lack of control makes it an invasive program. Of course as long as the program is installed, it waist your battery. Your phone cannot go into sleep mode. It waits data sending your info out, when not under a load.
It should be illegal to track employees when they are at home, on home time, or on vacation. They require tracking to be "always on" even when you are home or on vacation. It's your personal property, not company property. They already have tracking devices on company property. Highly suspicious they need to know your precise location 24/7 even when you are at home. They even have cameras staring you in the face all day and night. No reason this should be legal anywhere.
Macropoint need to improve the app location accuracy, often there is inconsistency with location and timing...
doesn't track! I've reinstalled it several times and no luck. ive selected location, its been set to track continous. i dont have battery saver on either. I am on a current load, all my parameters are open on the phone. the app just sucks.
It's ok, but the updates are slow. The broker gone call and ask for update and eta. Eventhough this thing is supposed to be tracking me.
Martin transportation bullied and intimidated me that I had to get this stupid app or else I can't work. if you read the agreement when you first get it no one will track you unless you authorize it. For months now, I've had an issue with loads not showing even though the brokers say I'm being tracked. Even now, no load is showing. The app has had its storage wiped and has been reinstalled a number of times.
I changed my opinion to three stars from one star because it does work better however when you pause tracking such as 2 hours it pauses tracking for upwards of five to six hours and that's always been a problem but no big deal we can work around it otherwise it's better than it used to be.
Use to be one from best app for tracking. Now is one from the worst. Constantly loosing location, stocking in one place even truck is moving all the time. Allowing brokers or others who have access got your location without your acceptance or permission. Start tracking you just after tracking request is posted even few days before your load pickup. Delivered loads stay in section "today" for days. No option to delated or dismiss unvanted trackings
it is the most widely used tracking app and it used to work great. the thing that grinds my gears is the app has 1 method to stop tracking when it goes rogue and trips itself. the 3 dots when looking at a broker tracking drops a menu. select pause track and it brings up another menu that at the end has end tracking button, but I click it and done and the spinny confused buffer wheel spins forever as if it doesn't understand. i have to go to location settings now and force it to stop tracking me.
It's easier than it used to be. Works good but needs a place for me to put comments. Ex. Removed from load, dropped at yard, swapped load, ect. I had to re-download to a new phone an wow it was really bad. 1st load it stopped tracking me in ca. I was in Ohio. Customer was not happy. I paused tracking and it stopped. Won't start again. I tried Uninstaller an reloading. Won't start tracking again. I guess it's done with my load! I know I'm done with this app!
This App wants full access to your phone, I get location, but the app doesn't want to run properly unless you give it full control to your files, pictures and system settings, The only access should be location only. !!! On an iPhone it just basically has these turned on by default but for Android it gives you the option's for what the app can access on the phone, and if it's not given any control in anything, it will keep asking for permission and not working unless it's given full access.
Just one more way to track you. I already pay enough for one tracking device that I'm required to have, but having my phone tracked too is a bit much. Plus all the phone calls to confirm I'm where it says I am. I think it's all BS. I might be a little more ok with the whole thing if they were the ones paying my phone bill
The app requires permission to send notifications and set alarms on my phone. I don't want the app to change anything on my phone, but if I don't give permission to change the alarm, it doesn't work. On iPhone, the API does not provide access to the alarm, and the app works without it. On Android, tracking stops working if you only give permission to access your location.
