the app interface seems light and not flooded with any buttons, data, or functions that would make it seem like a super app - it doesn't need to. Malwarebytes is Malwarebytes. I only have one concern. During the scan, there was an unknown file that it could not move or identify but was not detected as a threat. I'm keeping both of my eyes out despite the no detection results. Prior to the installation, this phone was suspected to have intelligent malware hiding somewhere in the system.

Why does the app stop working when I'm editing photos ❓It just disappeared a second ago and I wasn't doing anything on my phone, had to manually open it so it would be on the notification bar saying it's working. I've NEVER had the app work so poorly and I've had it on my laptop for years, recently added to my Android phone. I hope I'm not paying for this service in vain‼️ I really depend on the app to keep my stuff safe‼️What should I do ❓

Malwarebytes was able to detect and fix some PC issues caused by browser hijacks even though the antivirus software from Microsoft was ignoring them. The process was pretty easy and painless. Best of all I got to do it for free. The software is free to try and fully functional for a couple of weeks. Once I saw how well it improved and protected the affected computer I decided to get the family subscription. Just the security evaluation it does is worth the price. I'm a happy customer!

I love Malwarebytes for malware, and virus protection. For that reason alone, it's worth it. However, I am very frustrated with the VPN. It wouldn't auto connect (although I had it set for this), it disconnected constantly, and it made my phone extremely slow. I finally disabled the Malwarebytes VPN, and got another one, and all is great, but I wish this one had worked.

App doesn't work. Used it for years just renewed my subscription and suddenly the app crashes always, doesn't open, etc. It doesn't ever function. I reinstalled it too. Makes the phone lag. I have a Samsung s24 in pristine condition. It's inexcusable to charge for a product that doesn't work. I have been subbed to this app for many years no issues. Don't buy. Crashed my phone too more than once. Malwarebytes emphasis on the MALWARE. Garbage app.

Malwarebytes used deceptive advertising to get me to reup my subscription. They got into my browser and showed an advertisement that said I had 4 viruses on my system. When my system was scanned using the 30-day trial, there were no viruses. in addition, they immediately charged me for a yearly subscription. This is extremely deceptive advertising. In my opinion, Malwarebytes is a malicious app. I recommend everyone who is considering it for protection think again.

Downloaded on my computer and it worked perfect - it found and cleaned up my computer. Downloaded on my phone, and it opens up to a frozen screen and crashs a couple seconds later. Unistalled, restarted my phone, redownloaded and had the same result. Phone software is verified up to date. I will update my review as soon as it works properly on my phone, but until then, it won't work at all for me, so I cannot rate it well.

With the latest update the free version, which I've used for years, doesn't seem to be available anymore. I know you've said to others that it can be accessed through the PAYWALL page but I've looked all over the sign in and subscription pages and can't find it. I've looked on your website and can't find any reference to it either. I know you want users to pay of course. if you still do have the free version, please describe in exact detail how to find it. it seems very well hidden.Thank you

Won't let me past "turn on notifications" screen. App is forcing me to turn them on. Why? What's so important that I need them on? I've read that your notifications are mainly trying to sell upgrades and act more like ads than actual notifications. What say you? Edit 1: I can't issue a ticket cause the app won't let me past the mandated notification setup. It wasn't updated per your reply. still forces one to allow notifications before moving forward. why can't y'all get this right?

This review is subject to change, but as of now, I am far from pleased with this app. I paid for a subscription to deal with intrusive pop-up ads, which have made using my phone nearly impossible. Little or no improvement thus far, and I am having difficulty contacting support. It may be necessary to cancel my subscription.
