Reviews for Manga UP!

← Back to Manga UP!

best app for Manga, you get free credits every day and if you choose to try out the paid version you get 1 month free of charge and if you choose to continue to pay for it, it's crazy cheap too. 10/10, would recommend.

Subscription does not work at all. Errors every time I try to sign in. Signin works eventually (or so it says) but none of the manga it says are free are included. 0/10.

I created an acct & was enjoying their svc for about a week after that I got kicked out of the app so I tried to log back in and it said that my acct was not found even though I have an active subscription with them so I thought maybe the app was corrupted so I uninstalled it & reinstalled it & try to log back in the same issue occurred went to contact us to seek help it only allows 40 words to describe your issue & when you hit next nothing & after reading the FAQ you lose chs if u uninstalled

I would give this more stars if not because of how often it error out needing a "full close" and "open again". For some reasons it often encounters a situation that it doesn't know how to fix.

Tried the first month free subscription and nothing happened, I still can't read the newer chapters of some manga. So I decided to purchase 650 coins, only to realize it all ran out after 30 chapters or so. Meanwhile on Shonen Jump Manga Plus, I can access ALL manga and all chapters with the same amount of money.

launch review: 1 Chapter split into several parts, censorship don't even make sense, and there's no option to read uncensored. The price is too expensive. Might as well buy physical or subscribe to other legal digital manga publisher. updated review edit: they add better subscription option and remove censorship, so i change the rating

Good app! But I get the feeling of being a rip off when I get a notification to read a new series first chapter for some points where do those points go? I only have 160 other points too when do we get more points in either reading a chapter or opening another chapter to read? So confused with it plus I'm a new reader just and FYI.

It's not that bad. Led me to like & buy a series or 2. There are some very good titles in there & the free currency system is fair (4 parts every 12hrs) if you are not a binge reader. Up/XP/Coin (free/freenium/paid) system can be confusing. Can't make up their mind breaking chapters into parts, combining into one part, or leaving them alone. Still better than K Manga.

even if you pay for a subscription, a chunk of the newest chapters of every series is not included and you must pay extra to access them. as if that wasn't bad enough, the chapters are chopped up into several pieces, each costing to access. Literally the worst system I've ever seen. it's not affordable AND there is nothing convenient or efficient about it

really bad app, if you get their monthly subscription it won't actually give you access to anything. They give you a disclaimer AFTER you purchase that it may take a while to update, it's 18 hours later and I can't access anything. They pretend they have support but if you try to submit a ticket, it won't let you. Seems to me like either it's a scam or a very badly designed service. Real shame

It has a few great titles like "Angel Next Door Spoils me rotten" and "Apothecary Diaries" those really carry this app's library. But that's not the bad part. I would still give it a 5 star if it had a good reading experience. It DOESN'T. Most of the chapters are broken up into at least 2 if not 4 or 5 parts. And oftentimes you get one part every one week to a month. It's not fun. Also I don't get having 3 currencies. Just have the daily points and the coins. The xp currency is redundant 3 stars

This app has a bit of a learning curve, but once you get used to it the app is a sufficient way to read manga. They give you free currency to use twice a day (doesn't stack) and occasionally offer a second currency that doesn't expire simply by reading the first chapter of a new series. As long as you pace yourself, you can read anything on the app! However, my issue with the app is that it's hard to find out when new chapters are released, and you might be waiting months for a series to update!

You have to deal with three different currencies in order to access chapters. The free ones are very limited and the paid one is a terrible value. It's generally cheaper to just buy books. Chapters are often split into several parts. Page lengths vary wildly (sometimes as few as 5 pages) but do not vary in price accordingly and are not disclosed. Recent chapters, and nearly every chapter of certain popular titles, cost double and cannot be unlocked with the free daily currency at all.

Installed just to see the app for myself. Echoing other comments, the coin system is bad. Don't like how each chapter is cut into multiple parts - which makes you have to buy each part. I use Webtoon, and once you buy ("unlock") chapters, they stay unlocked. Also saw what people were talking about censorship. Wow it's incredibly bad. Black rectangles to the max. You might as well cover the entire character.

Not a subscription service. First chapter or so is free then you have to purchase the rest. Buying a series by volume is not available, you have to do it by chapter and chapters are split up by about 16 pages can be $3 each. It also doesn't seem available on PC, and I see no way out of single-page format. Even if you're fine with the pricing Bookwalker sells those "exclusives" with better functionality, and other platforms have rest in volumes. After all that there's censorship. Can't recommend.

A typical corporate manga reader. It lacks vertical scrolling options, but the manga selection is good. It's pay-per-chapter, which is fine, but they split every chapter into parts to squeeze you dry. Sometimes it's two parts, other times it's three. So if you do purchase their in app currency, it's only about half as valuable as it seems, about 15 USD for 12 chapters. It's literally cheaper to buy an ebook if they're available. Of course, since it's got some exclusives, ebooks won't happen.

I think their monthly subscription model is decent, at least for a couple of months. I already feel like I'm running out of series to read though; their selection feels small. If I have to close the app while reading, when I open it again, it doesn't save my spot, instead resetting me back to the episode I started on. If I'm rereading, it's a little frustrating to figure out which episode I'm really on. If you like isekai, there's plenty of that.

Good selection, but buggy and no customer servive that I can find. I currently can't get it to properly implement my subscription. I'm logged in & it knows I have a subscription - it says so when I try to buy one that I already have it - but nothing actually shows up in the app. Clearing cache & data, restarting, etc., don't work. Canceling (again) in frustration.

So although it's a bit annoying that after wasting all your starting credits you only get 160 more every 12 hours it's a good incentive to get you to buy the premium (although I wont) and at the end of the day you still get full access for free. I just wish they had more popular manga like one piece, jjk, blue lock, etc. they still have some really good stuff (apothecary diaries, Horimiya)

for having a higher subscription cost than almost any other manga app, this app is by FAR the most buggy app of all of them. I can't even read two chapters in a row without having to force close the entire app and reopen it 5 times to get it working again. in addition to having not the greatest selection. even worse, after subscribing, a few days down the road, you'll be signed out and unable to access your account
