Used to be working smoothly but now almost half of the time, the ads don't work. Screen turns black when I try to see the ad and then I have to close the app and reopen it in order to get a new ad and even then the ad still doesn't work. It's been doing this for months and I'm not sure how to fix it. I dont have any adblockers that would be causing this either. Very frustrating
I've about had it with this app. Brought coins to read the webtoon. Used the coin purchased to read the webtoon, then when I want to go back and reread the comic that I purchased. I have to unlock and pay AGAIN?! What. Doesnt make sense. Why would you make your customer pay more than once for something they already brought! This is clearly stealing the reader money.
Used to like it until the change. The ads, that were nothing like the games they advertised, were acceptable because I got the points to read terribly translated manga for free. They took away the points system. Other apps are still free and they're well translated. Way to shoot yourself in the foot, developers. The web is vast and you're not the only option. Uninstalling.
good stories. sometimes they dont make sense. There was a great reading point system for a little bit. If you spent a certain amount of time in the app or reading you got points that saved up and didn't expire like the coupons (which I think is sad that they expire). However it seems to have stopped which is really upsetting to me. I enjoy the comics and the point system was a perfect way for me to read them.
I was enjoying it until it stole my money. I clicked on the six dollar option for buying coins in their store and that was what I thought I was paying for. When I looked at my bank however it said there was a $ 20 hold. I thought it was strange, but figured they had made the hold be for more than the actual amount bought as some things will do. No. I go back late to find that they had taken the 20 dollars out of my account despite the fact that was NOT what I had clicked on to buy. Not happy rn.
I love this app. One thing though... I really wish the comics could be translated into Japanese and Korean, I'm very surprised that's not an option considering the amount of people in the comments wanting the comics to be in those languages since English is not their first language and they have trouble understanding. I hope Japanese and Korean can be added to the list, and when they are I will be one of the first to volunteer to translate!😊
I am absolutely irritated by the ads. I understand that you need to pay translators and authors, but still... Couldn't there be a better way to go about this? Despite this con, I do think the comics here are waaayy better than most. Gotta be honest, this app would get waaayy better reviews if there wasn't this inconvienice. Like for real, look at the app Webtoons, their content is free!!! I that Webtoon is free, but I also love the comics in manga toon more! DANG IT JUST MAKE IT AN ACTUAL FREE APP!!! Please take this into consideration.
I was having a good time reading. I made it to episode 30 of Biting the Tiger, but all of a sudden, my reading coupons stopped working. When I brought this up to support, they responded once, and when I explained it didn't help, they didn't respond again, and it's been 3 days by now. This is disappointing. I'm not buying even more coins or watching ads to read chapters I should be allowed to read anyways. What was the point of getting coins and coupons by spending money if I can't use them?
It's not so much that it's a bad app, has a lot of independent work. Doesn't have any popular titles or anime titles (too my knowledge). The issue I have is, I downloaded the app not too long ago and I recieved an email saying someone tried to sign in my account from czechia in the czech republic. I don't know if there's any correlation but when I looked further into it, google said it was connected to when I made an account with these guys. Other than that it's a good app but I think you guys need better security.
5 stars cause I'm enjoying it overall, but please fix the ads. Half of them I can't close out of and I have to close out the app entirely, which causes problems when I'm trying to "borrow" episodes. I just had to watch 5 ads and restart the app 5 times just to read one episode. I also can't switch between apps without it throwing up an ad that I can't close out of. Otherwise, I really like the app lol
