Leaderboard not displaying the charts. Marketsurge did not show the data. All empty. I don't know whether they te see t their app..
Says unable to load data and saved lists don't load. Update, still doesn't work after 5.1 version upgrade on 3/14/24
Frustrating. I love MS as a platform but their App is full of bugs. They sit on those issues and expect you to get used to them, instead of investing developer time to fix them. I was hopeful that transition to Marketsurge would bring some improvements but its just the same old buggy Marketsmith in green color.
The whole point of marketsurge is to see the list. When I try and view list the app errors out. Not sure if this is worth $149 per month
User of MarketSmith for years (should not have deleted it!). --Recent symbol list no longer functions --Future P/E eliminated --Seems like a Beta version --News function laughably inadequate (p.s. called them about improvement in this area, even agreed to pay more for up-to-date news & they were totally unconcerned over feedack) --Sadly, this product, while leading edge 20 years ago, has woefully failed to keep up with the proliferation of market info even though it has been a cah cow for them
Although marketsurge is a brilliant trading tool the app is terrible. It frequently crashes completely and can also require signing out and in of. I hope they update and fix the large amount of bugs this app currently has in order to make this excellent tool truly portable.
If the app worked I'd pay for it. But not being able to look at stock charts is kindof a problem. Crazy that this hasn't been fixed. Does work well on laptop. ** Update** marketsurge now works on my galaxy s9+, no issues at all so I'll be changing my review from 2 too 5 stars.
It's very very complicated. Why don't you make it a simple app. Like, what is your thoughts about every stock. What's your favorite stocks and why. I tried to fetch about certain stocks, I couldn't. All the things that you included, are empty. Why do I have to have go to watch video, and listen for sometime. Take me directly to the goal.

Slow refresh rate. Has cost me money. App goes horizontal on Android OS at times, always an inconvenience. Market Smith was a great app. Worthy of the name Marketsmith. Markesurge has a more egoic feel. You took an excellent program, added some lipstick, and put her on the street. Marketsmith wasn't broken, there was no need to fix it...but this often happens when an excellent small company is acquired by a large one and some well placed person decides to change things and can make it happen.
This app has the same problem I had with MarketSmith. When I go into charts it says the selected periodicity is not available. Daily, weekly, any setting same thing. Also won't show fundamentals, news or anything for a stock. It makes the app near useless.
Android app is terrible. I can't pull up lists. Often, get errors. If I delete it and reload, it will work for a day, then start getting errors. The app on my iPad works great, but the android app is almost unusable. You would think a company like IBD would fix this quickly. I like IBD but am ready to cancel my subscription due to the horrible app.
Reason for 3 stars is that I always have to log out and back in every time I open the app. It gives various errors that fail to display charts or any info until I log out and back in again. I see others have the same issue and has been happening for months now.
My MarketSurge app stopped working properly on my Samsung a couple of months ago. My phone is not very old and the app worked fine until one day it didn't. Since this is what I use daily, I may not be renewing my subscription. It's too expensive to not be able to see the daily info!
I don't like that the charts and tables reset their colors when the phone OS updates. Red and blue were fine. Blue and dark purple are nearly the same color and don't show up and down days clearly.
App does not work properly on my samsung. This started in February and even contacting them many times they do nothing just that they are looking at it. This is a lie. It must not effect enough subcribers for them to care. I am very dissatisfied with them. It does work fine on the computer just not the mobil app.
