So here's my honest take on Maru - ComicViewer/TextReader. I've tested a bunch of comic/text reader apps and this one's pretty solid. The amount of file support is great - you can open just about any kind of text or comic format. And the customization options for fonts, spacing, colors, etc. And are a nice touch. Doesn't have the most polished UI, but it's functional. The free version has ads, which can get old, but you can pay to remove them. Overall, it's a capable app that gets the job done for reading on your phone.
