Description
I’ve been using Math Flash Cards for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps kids (and adults!) practice essential math skills like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Pretty solid app if you’re into educational games.
Here’s what you do: there are flash cards with math problems, and you have to solve them. There’s also a countdown timer, which adds a little test-like pressure. You can adjust the number ranges too, like 0 to 50 for addition and subtraction, or 0 to 20 for multiplication and division. And you can even pick two operations at once, which is a nice way to mix it up.
Look, if you or your kids need to brush up on math basics, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Math Flash Cards. I've tested a bunch of educational apps and this one's pretty good. The features are solid - you've got the flexible number ranges, the timed tests, the option to repeat missed cards. It's challenging enough to keep you engaged but not so hard that it'll frustrate you or your kids. The voice feedback is friendly and encouraging too. On the downside, the ads can get old after a while and the progression feels a bit slow at higher levels. But for a free app, it's a pretty great way to build math skills.

Simple, cheap, and exactly what I was looking for for my 8-yr-old to work on his math facts!
Hi! I cannot find a manual to show me how to change the settings so that my child only practices single digit addition and subtraction. Can you please help?
Would help if app showed correct answer until a next button or something was pressed to move on to next card rather than flashing momentarily over the next card. Would...
