So here's my honest take on Mathway: Scan & Solve Problems. I've tested a bunch of math apps and this one's pretty darn good. The camera scanning feature works really well, and I love how it shows the step-by-step solutions. Compared to similar apps, the practice problems and video lessons are a nice bonus. The only downsides are the occasional ads and the fact that it can get repetitive after a while. But overall, it's a super useful tool for students or anyone who needs to solve math problems.

Cons

  • Can be annoying with ads if you don't pay for the premium version

Description

I’ve been using Mathway: Scan & Solve Problems for a couple months now. It’s basically a super smart math calculator that can solve all kinds of problems – algebra, calculus, you name it. Pretty solid app if you’re into math homework help and study tools.

Here’s what you do: you can either type in your math question or take a photo of it, and Mathway will give you step-by-step solutions. There’s also a bunch of practice problems and video lessons, which is pretty cool. And the graphing calculator feature – took me a while to figure that out but it’s really useful.

Look, if you struggle with math, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the ads can be annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you need help solving tricky math problems.
