I enrolled for a year subscription because I really needed its functionalities. I am dissatisfied. It's not reliable when i need it. 😕 When it works, it is a great tool. But it freezes most of the time. I restart my phone also, uninstall it, and reinstall. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it still doesn't.
This app is amazing. Also, I like that I can say bye, hi, goodnight, and some other things to it. It makes it easier to ask the calculator questions. Also, the graph is great, especially since I can zoom into it or follow the line to more space of the graph. Truly a work of art. I have three other calculators on my phone and I don't use any of them as much as I use this one.
Math way is really great! It can give you step by steps. However the reason I give it a 3 is because sometimes it doesn't recognize the problems in the picture. Other then that it really is great. Oh and I would live to be able to scan screenshots too instead of just having to take a picture of it with everything being on line and all. Please consider my idea!
Usually Mathway is great at doing what it does, but recently the app has been crashing and repeatedly gets stuck on the loading screen, I've had the subscription for a while now and this is the first time. Something happened, I don't know what, but for now, you shouldn't buy the subscription for an app that currently doesn't work. I did and now I have wasted money. Hopefully they resolver this issue soon.
Mathway is awesome, even though math is one of my least favorite subjects. Mathway helps me so much. I wasn't planning on writing this review, but Mathway really does offer a lot, today it helped me find a function rule that I having a hard time with. The only issue I have is the explaining. I got an upgrade, but the explanations aren't very clear. Overall I really recommend Mathway. Good luck with your studies!
So I am having the same problem as every other 1 star review. The app freezes upon any attempt to use it. I paid for a year and haven't been able to use it once. I look forward to the message from customer service telling me to email them... from how long this issue has been occurring, it's apparent that correcting it is not a priority. Considering this is a global problem one would think that they would aggressively fix the bug.
Taking online math classes is HARD!! My professor is using a very great platform to teach but when it's time to do it on my own I still need a little help. Mathway does give me the solution, the correct one every time. But more importantly it shows me how it got that solution! (After a short ad video). This is only my 2nd week of class but I'm very reliant on this being my little pocket tutor!
Having similar problems as everyone else it seems. App needs to be uninstalled and reinstalled every time I open it. Other than that it works fine but the un/reinstall process defeats the purpose of checking your work in a pinch. This problem seems to be occurring on any and every mobile device I've tried. I haven't tried the web version but I rarely need it when I'm by a computer.
Okay, so I do enjoy this calculator as it provides the answers to your equations almost instantly with almost all of the requirements you need. Though, I don't like the subscription in order to view the steps. And now, after the past couple years, they pushed it with an ad for every problem you send. That's absurd. I'm sure they wondered why they weren't gaining money from the subscription service, well forcing an ad down our throats for every problem doesn't fix the issue.
This app is an absolute life changer for me. I am using the free version and so far it's given me what I needed to really get by. I'm seriously considering the paid version for a few reasons. 1.) The free version was considerate enough to not throw adds in there. At least none I've seen yet. I appreciate that and makes me want to spend my money with them. 2.) I can see where having the paid version will be handy with seeing the steps. I was thinking math was an impossible nightmare util now.
