Reviews for Meal Planner - Weekly Plan

← Back to Meal Planner - Weekly Plan

Exactly what I was looking for! I wanted an app to simply plan and organize my family's weekly meals. This app is clean and straightforward unlike other meal planning apps which require you to count calories and only shows you each day. This app shows you the entire week laid out as if you were planning it by hand. I also feel like the paid yearly subscription is very reasonable and would be worth the additional price to plan in advance. Overall super happy & I'm thrilled to be saving paper.

I'm enjoying the app, I like the style. Edit: Thank you! I checked settings and was able to change the start day. As for the other thing, no, but that could work too. I was thinking more like another tab at the bottom with just the meals, with the ability to organize them. I've tried finding apps that do that but with no luck, and now I like this one too much to keep looking.

I've been trying to find a super comprehensive, straightforward weekly menu calendar app for years, and I finally found this one. I LOVE it. it's easy to use and view, making basic menu planning easy. I like to write down the weeks dinners so I don't forget them, but having it on my phone is so much more convenient than in a notebook because the app also let's you make a grocery list, so everything is just with me wherever I am :)

It's good for a week at a time but I wish it was 2 weeks at a time. Also, it would be GREAT if you could break up the grocery list by meal so have the meal as the heading then what groceries you need for it under that so I don't forget anything. Also, it would be cool if there was a way to notate at a glance how much prep time is required so it jogs my memory that, "Hey, Sunday, you need 4 hrs for your pot roast or your Sunday sauce" or "Tuesday's dinner is a 30 minute meal"

This app is very cute and simple/ not too busy. I would give it 5 stars if I could customize it a little more. I start my week on Sunday, but this app starts on Monday. I also would like to rearrange the Breakfast, Lunch, Snack, & Dinner labels. It would be nice to add/ subtract meals like Dessert. It would also be really great if we could manually type in recipes instead of only uploading photos. Then use those ingredients to create a shopping list.

It's easy to add each item, you can add pictures of the food or a recipe, or the ingredients. Very Simple. I love it. However I am looking for something that makes a shopping list for me after I choose the meals. So this wasn't for me, right now. This app would be great for those who already have everything they need and just want to visually see what they will have for each day. I also wish it had option to add another Snack after breakfast, because kids eat a million times 🤪

I love how delightfully cute the 2 customized designs are. I wish there were more cute cats here and there though. I would like to have the option to add multiple items to the meal time options. Unless I am ising the app wrong, I can only add one meal. For example: Lunch - Couscous, Chicken Sausage, Apple, Green Beans I would like it if all of the self imported meals could be added to any time option. More flexable meal time choices would also be good.

Great for a free app! It's easy to use, cute, and keeps track of all the meals you've used in the past. I also like the widget so I can quickly look at what I planned on making for the day. Suggestions- I kinda wish you could add extra fields for different snacks for kids, or a field next to dinner (and other meals) to write down a side dish or two. Because if you write the side dish in the same box with the meal you aren't always going to have that side dish next time you input that meal.

It's super organized and cute! I love writing down lists, but this is basically the same thing, except less messy, confusing, and cuter. It's really easy to look at my meals, and it motivates me to stick to my meal plan. It also has a cool shopping list option that I use a lot-so if u have poor memory or love to keep track of things, but you lose stuff easily-then 💯 use this apppppp. Period 😝😝 i usually don't write reviews, but that's how GOOD it is

So far I like the app! Simple without too much or too little to it if you're just looking for something to have a meal plan for the week. I love that you can pick the day your "week" starts on. I don't like that you can't remove snack or one of the meals as an option, but it's a small grievance and only affects the appearance, not the function.

Really cute, simple and easy! One thing I wish it had was the ability to export the list to send to someone. It can just be the text of the days/meals and what I wrote. Also could be great if it could have more than just one list. Just a second one so I can have two meal plans to spread out my weekly options! But it's still great and simple and I like it a ton! Thanks!!!!

The app is perfect because it isn't day based- instead of August 12th it just uses Monday. This makes it easier to create a routine. My complaint is that the widget doesn't scroll so I can't see snack or dinner meal plans. It also only uses a full display when the phone is sideways. There are no settings to change this, either. I do like that recipes are saved, though.

I don't like that there is a grocery list section but you can add a recipe card to it and have it auto pick the ingredients out of it. it's just tedious to use that way I might as well use my notes app. I don't appreciate that I have to clear each card individually, otherwise you have to subscribe to have access to more than one week at a time. It's cute but also so bare bones that I might as well write it all down with pen and paper.

Nice and simple! I like that it allows you to fully create your own recipes (even if it's like me, where it's just the name because I've made it so many times). I would like to be able to search for my recipes based on an ingredient (e.g., if I have ground beef to use, type that in the search bar, and have it come up with every recipe that mentions "ground beef" in the ingredients). But overall, it's simple, cute, and does it's job (thankfully without a subscription if you don't want)!

I love this app! The built-in DIY shopping list and the option to add the same meal or different meals manually is wonderful! I didn't realize I needed a meal-planning app as I just used up whatever was around without much thought about my nutritional needs. Now that I have a baseline for protein and other things, I can make better choices. The manual option is great because I am on a tight budget so this will also help show the most frequently purchased items at the grocery store.

*Update: WORKING! 🥰 I love this app, but the widget option is why I loved it more than others. The widget is constantly not updating to the correct day or showing a meal from a previous week, which is weird because I don't pay for the yearly subscription to enter more than one week at a time. The app works great on my phone, but I wanted a widget to display the menu on my Cozyla. I have restarted, logged out and reinstalled without success. I hope there is an update that fixes this soon.

I've been playing with this app for a few hours, and I like what I see so far, but I have a few suggestions: have the shopping list autofill from ingredients of recipes you have added to the plan. even just making the manual process easier. have the search look in ingredients and descriptions, not just titles. I should be able to look up "cilantro" and find all recipes that call for it. fix the text box jumping bugs: if I click on the ingredients, sometimes it will throw me into the description.

I like the meal planner, I wish that you could copy the ingredients from a recipe to your shopping list, though that isn't as important, the thing that annoys me is that there is no way to mass delete on the shopping list you have to hold down on the first one you want to remove then click every other thing you want to remove as well, instead of there just being a button to make the shopping list blank

Cannot easily copy and paste. Cannot repeat menus. Wants to charge if you go beyond one week. My interest was to repeat the menu every other week. So, to have two weeks planned and repeated without having to enter it in again and again. The app required paid version if I wanted to set up more than 1 week in advance. Thank you for the response.

The interface is cute and simple, nothing complicated to be learned. But I wish there was a way to add all the ingredients from a recipe directly to your shopping list instead of having to manually add them. Also, it would be helpful to add a link to a recipe and have that data auto-populate into the correct fields to eliminate manual entry. Otherwise everything is great and well worth the yearly price for an upgrade.
