Another predatory app full of AI and fake profiles. I read the reviews before installing and decided to see how bad it really was, and it's even worse. First page is full of spelling errors. They don't even try to mask the BS. There are no locations, everyone's "nearby". Pictures are blatantly AI, check the hands and eyes. I didn't dive too deep, but after a few clicks, everything was pay pay pay. Report and trash this app and its developers.
Reviews for Meboo Dating App: Meet & Date
I'm sorry Meboo but I need to be honest with what I say as my experience was negative. I stayed in the app for at least a month and a half and it was because I was hoping somewhere along the way things would change. They did not. I got the premium. I purchased enough credits to unlock content towards the beginning. Now, out of the 20+ girls who promised me to meet if I opened their specified amount of private content never kept their promised. Got stoodup every single time. Opened 10 pics 10 vid
There should be a disclaimer that reads For Entertainment purposes only. Tons of AI bots that pressure you into buying Premium and if you say no, they stop talking to you. Also very suspicious that over 50 females/bots contacted me immediately after I liked their profile. Really someone is just sitting there waiting for a like. Plus realistically wouldn't a real person take longer to read my profile to see if they even liked me? If they are real, I've never seen so many desperate females ever.
Your app is a complete lie and misleading. After singing up for VIP and paying extra to unlock private pictures at the ladies request with a promise of a meeting after unlocking 10 pictures they go silent and don't respond back or after unlocking the 10 pictures they say just unlock a few more and unlock some videos. It just keeps going on and on. Being milked little by little with no intention of keeping their word. Bunch of bullcrap.
Just posted a 5 star rating for a drumo offer and immediately after I submitted my evidence of the review they told me "my review has expired"??? And then they kicked me out and blocked me from the site and didn't give me the reward as they are saying I didn't complete the offer. Not a good look and that's without even opening the app. I don't mess with people or companies that are scandalous like this. I'd watch out if you use this app and good forbid you need help from the developers.
Its an ok app, but it's a bit to expensive to. They do have a false advertisement that says free chats, but it's not actually free entirely to chat. I had several chats require me to pay for premium subscription. It's just expensive and not all that well structured.
As I have been using the app and been speaking with women, I apparently have matched up with, we begin having fun conversations til some automatically look to send me explicit photos and videos, when all I look to ask is when could we set up a day and time to meet. The day would come, and I ended up being ghosted. Plus, I may not be a premium holder, but having to pay extra just to conversate with multiple women is ludacris.
Everyone is a bot. Same responses to questions I ask, the location is horribly off. I got a match that was "nearby" the first day. I now know that it's 5000 miles from PA to Hawaii. Thanks for that meboo. No one on it uses punctuation, many of the profiles say they're Canadian but they'll say they're somewhere in the States.
App looks good on the surface, but is very unstable and full of bots/clearly fake accounts. I was unable to upload a profile photo without it crashing. There's no way to set your location or search criteria. Perhaps this will improve with future releases.
I didn't expect to meet anyone. Connections are based on shared values and interests. It seems like this sorting, filter, or whatever really works. We are in the age of swiping, and the potential connections keep coming. I like the apps design. It feels like I am having genuine conversations with real people, we will see! It's free, and sign up is actually really quick and straightforward.
