And there’s also an option to keep track of changes over time, which is pretty cool. And you can even get a quick consultation with a dermatologist through the app – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.

Look, if you’re concerned about skin cancer, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – sometimes the analysis is a bit iffy – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out, especially since it’s free.

So here's my honest take on Medic Scanner - skin analyze. I've tested a bunch of medical apps and this one's pretty solid. The AI analysis seems pretty reliable, and being able to track changes in your moles over time is really handy. The derm consultation is a nice bonus too. The only downsides are that the analysis can be hit or miss sometimes, and the app is a little clunky to use at first. But overall, if you're worried about skin cancer, this is a great tool to have on your phone.
