I've tested a bunch of telehealth apps and MedStar eVisit is one of the better ones I've used. The interface is simple and intuitive, you can get connected with a provider 24/7, and most insurance plans are accepted. In my experience, the doctors have been knowledgeable and helpful. The only real downside is the occasional video quality issue, but that's kind of expected with telehealth. Overall, it's a pretty solid option if you need fast, convenient medical care.

Description

Been using MedStar eVisit – Telehealth for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you connect with a doctor for urgent care anytime, no matter where you are. Pretty solid if you need fast, reliable medical help without going to the ER or waiting forever at an urgent care clinic.

Here’s how it works: you can just open the app, describe your symptoms, and get connected with a provider in minutes. There’s also an option to send photos if it’s a skin issue or something. And if you need a prescription, they can send it straight to your pharmacy. It’s got all the features you’d expect from a telehealth service.

Look, if you’re the kind of person who gets sick at random times and hates waiting rooms, you’ll probably dig this. It’s not perfect – the video quality can be a bit iffy sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you need quick access to a doctor.

Looks like MedStar has a winning app here. Works like a charm but it still wouldn't be 5 stars without the people involved. Competent, professional and friendly but most of...

Every little internet interruption resets the connections. I've been on the phone for over an hour and had to rejoin 3 times. Even with a stable connection no one picks...
