Look, if you’re the kind of person who gets sick at random times and hates waiting rooms, you’ll probably dig this. It’s not perfect – the video quality can be a bit iffy sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you need quick access to a doctor.

I've tested a bunch of telehealth apps and MedStar eVisit is one of the better ones I've used. The interface is simple and intuitive, you can get connected with a provider 24/7, and most insurance plans are accepted. In my experience, the doctors have been knowledgeable and helpful. The only real downside is the occasional video quality issue, but that's kind of expected with telehealth. Overall, it's a pretty solid option if you need fast, convenient medical care.

Waiting hours in person at MedStar just to be put in a room and shown a telehealth doctor anyways is a joke. Use this app from the get go instead....
