One of the worst apps I've ever used. It was bad before when I used it back in 2019, but it somehow got to the point where it's borderline unusable. The app freezes so consistently, it can literally take 30 seconds or sometimes a little longer to navigate to one profile. And even longer to scroll through people's pictures. Not to mention frequent crashing and a plague of bots and scammers, even with their "verification" method. Absolute disgrace they thought this was even acceptable to release.

The app doesn't send me the message notifications unless I open the app and am online. Like, I don't need to get the notifications when im online. My message threads just disappear into thin air. I block accounts, and somehow, they keep popping up in my feed. It keeps matching me with people I didn't want to match with. And the amount of spam/fake accounts is ridiculous.. needs a lot of work.

How... Is it possible to register, then have the newly registered login be invalid? Used a different email and everything. My old account wanted me to verify directly after verifying without leaving this cycled page. Just not allowing anyone on or what? Congrats, guys. Now you get to have ONLY bots on your app. Tried to contact them multiple times now, receiving no response. Uninstalling. Don't waste your time, people. I did submit a request... Like, 20 of them. So, fix the issue.

I do not like the layout. You can't save people's profiles as favorites anymore. I can't see who has liked my profile without having meetme premium subscription. At least on the old version, if you didn't have the subscription you could do the match each day & after 5 days you could see your likes. I think it was a bad decision to change that. I also hate that you can't see when someone was last active. You could be messaging someone who hasn't been on in over a month, but you don't know that.

Sadly I didn't get to use the app really. It refused repeatedly to even let me sign up. One big complaint is having to scroll month by month to set your date of birth. Could at least let it scroll just the year separately, or type it in. This is pretty unacceptable in this day and age. I would've liked to give the app a fair go around, but not much I can do. Can only review what you can access! Which for me was the sign up portion only. Pitiful.

The new UI is hot garbage. Read receipts in chats are now gone, so you have no idea if someone read your message. When searching nearby profiles, you no longer have the option to see Online Only, so you're forced to wade through profiles that may have been dormant for months (there are a lot). Filters are now fewer overall. Your likes are also now locked behind a paywall. Mass deleting chats is no longer possible. You also can't see when someone was last online. The app is unusable now.

If I could rate it 0 stars I would. First, the app is stupid buggy. I don't get half of my messages, and when I do get my messages I either can't look at them or they suddenly disappear from my feed never to be found again. Second, I have to keep deleting and reinstalling the app for it to work, when I do it tells me my passwords wrong, yet I can log in on my phones browser with the same password. So I try a password reset and I just keep getting an error message on that page. Stupid

I can't tell you how many times my account has been hacked, and now I've been logged out and can't get back in! I've sent feedback, tried to contact support, tried to change my password, verified my identity before I got locked out, etc! Now I'm probably going to lose all my pictures and conversations, again, and I'm sick of it! Y'all have probably the shittiest security of any app I've ever used.

I miss when this was myyearbook. Meetme is a complete privacy and security concern. I had 3 back-to-back issues getting locked out of my account despite not having any reason to be locked out (except for maybe mass blocking creeps), and was never offered any sort of explanation. But the real kicker and biggest red flag: the site/app has NO option to change your password, the "Help" page is insecure in Firefox, and clicking "forgot password" to change your password results in an error message.

Absolutely do not waste your time. Same generic pickup line for dozens of profiles. Same pictures being used on multiple accounts. 3 hours since I made the account and I had every interaction close to 50+ profiles give me a link to a paysite, half of them were extremely high risk. Biggest waste of time out there. Last thing is they have a delete account in settings, but it doesn't work. So I'm really interested in finding out what I'm going to have to deal with for that. Hate to even be stat.
