So here's my honest take on Memrise: Languages for life. I've tested a bunch of language learning apps and this one's definitely one of the better ones. The lessons are engaging and the spaced repetition system really helps the new words stick. I like that it feels more like a game than just boring flashcards. On the downside, the free version is pretty limited and the paid subscription gets pretty pricey. But if you're committed to learning, it's a solid investment.

  • Ads can get annoying if you don't upgrade
  • Feels a bit gamified, might not be for everyone

Description

Been using Memrise: Languages for life for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps you learn new languages through interactive lessons and challenges. Pretty solid if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do: there’s tons of different languages you can learn, like Spanish, Korean, Japanese, and more. And you do little bite-sized lessons every day, which is great because it doesn’t feel like a huge time commitment. There’s also mini-games and quizzes to reinforce what you’re learning – it’s a pretty fun way to pick up new vocab.

Look, if you’re trying to learn a new language, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the ads can get annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if that’s your goal.
