I first used metamask 5 years ago and decided to get back in to it. So I imported my wallet from my seed phrase and got started adding networks. I couldn't get the Fantom Opera added. For example: 1) You enter the RPC URL by copy pasting from the docs? Invalid. 2) You enter the block explorer url from the docs? Invalid. 3)You get lucky and the app accepts everything except the black explorer which is optional? The save button stays greyed out. I gave up and switched wallets.

The new Android mobile app has issues. Every week the finger print fails, then password doesn't work and I have to delete the app and start again with seed words. And also adding other networks is an absolute pain now and I am not going to use anymore. It is not worth the hassle. Now it is not possible to manually add custom url. I tried adding Flare and others and the manaul is not possible to do. it seems to be getting worse. I tried other chains as well and not possible. Samsung Android 16.

the old review was outdated because the new update changed it all again. still 1☆. Android, the top ½ of screen is locked with info that could fit in the top⅕ of screen. we can only scroll a miniature section at the bottom leaving us room to see about 2-3 holdings. do devs bother using the app? or just push it on us? wouldn't it be great to use the WHOLE screen instead of the petty little bit they leave available.

completely useless for token research within the app. doesn't hold a point on the graphs just completely wigs out. shows me my balance and then I have to use other components from another company to do conversions anyway so ultimately all this app does it show my balance for the day and nothing else

I've had thousands of dollars stolen from various metamask accounts. I currently only use it because I still have presale tokens coming in. since the latest update i can't even access my tokens from the presale. so what gives? no one from metamask ever takes any responsibility for anything that happens, we have to agree to this in order to use the app. so basically I recommend against this wallet, despite its popularity and it being often the only real alternative for decentralized crypto.

In Metamask Browser, Galxe or any tasks, when clicked on the URL to open, show a "page not exist" error. There is no option to go to favorite links, and favorite links don’t even show up in the UI. With every update, the same issues keep coming up.

I tried using MetaMask for handling crypto and found it pretty easy to get the hang of. The setup felt secure, with clear steps to back up the recovery phrase and protect the wallet. The interface is clean and simple, and navigating through wallets and transactions wasn’t complicated. It’s a great choice if you’re getting into web3 or need a trusted wallet on the go.

Really needs to improve BSC compatibility. Tries to set gas prices way too high automatically for most transactions. Doesn't let you set them yourself by default. If you're in a hurry, you might process the transaction without thinking about it, costing you more than what's being moved in the transaction itself. Absolutely unacceptable. Also doesn't open new browser windows unless it's the default browser app, apparently?

SLOW, buggy, clunky and unintuitive, you can tell the developers just didn't care. I've never been this infuriated by an app before. The keyboard will constantly hide the field you're trying to type in. When making a purchase through coinbase, you have to enter every single detail every time, and this app isn't compatible with your Google Wallet, so you can't use that to auto fill. I attempted to bridge from one network to another, got charged a gas fee, and they never completed the bridge.

It's metamask and it's mobile. So far, so good. It's easy to switch between the Main and Test netwotks for ETH. It's probably better to create a separate wallet rather than import with this app, if you use the browser extension as well. They currently prevent exporting the seed phrase when asking you to back it up, which is kind of annoying and seems counter-intuitive.

This is the worst wallet ever. I can't buy eth here because the app keeps saying I can't go over a 500 daily limit, but seeing as I haven't bought anything today, why is it limiting me? There is no option to pay with a bank account even though the app says it accepts it, it only gives you the option of using a debit/credit card with even HIGHER LIMITS. Gas fees are HIGH and many people complain about losing money due their buggy system.

Somehow it's even worse than the browser extension! I didn't believe that could even be done! The only reason I even use MetaMask is because it's the only one seemingly able to be used with every web3 website. If there were another choice, I'd jump ship instantly! Crashes CONSTANTLY! It spontaneously will ask you to completely recover your wallet with your recovery phrase! (Which makes me super uncomfortable) and it's browser is among the worst experiences I've ever endured!

Trust the reviews. This app looks nice, but is terrible for both beginners and those experienced with crypto. One big issue is that, by default, it uses a tiny gas price that is way too small for the transaction to actually get processed, and its easier to get in a situation where your crypto is effectively locked, potentially forever. (speaking from experience) They really need to fix this

There's been an issue with using uniswap for a while. Nobody is talking about this??? Wallet connect is the only way to connect and it constantly has a warning pop up, "This website has been blocked from automatically opening an external application." The app crashes and closes right after. I often can't make a swap on uniswap. Phone (Pixel 6) isn't rooted or running graphene and it's up to date.

I had a hard time creating an account. I entered a password twice and it told me it was good. But the Continue button was disabled. It took a long time to figure out the problem: good was not good enough! It had to be strong! The user friendly thing would to tell the user the reason why Continue was not enabled! When I went to buy ETH I was shocked to see that to buy $200 the fees were $19.96, almost 10%. Other wallets are much cheaper! Also, debit card is the only option. No ACH!

Joined, got a bonus for joining, and about a month later miraculously the money was somehow transferred out of my wallet, from a different device, when my phone was in my possession the whole time, and no one had access to my password or recovery. Pretty suspicious, glad I didn't put any more money into it. I'm sure it all would have been transferred aswell. If I could rate 0 stars I would seeing how it's deceptive practice.

It's good, when it works. Most of the time it is super slow, even if I clear all the cookies and data and even completely do an account reset. I read all over the place that would fix it, sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. Easy to use app, when and if it work Edit: I deleted the wallet and resigned in using my recovery phrases. That seemed to clear everything up. It's working fine now

03/19/2025 Cannot even disconnect connections! When you click Disconnect All, nothing happens. You have to Disconnect them individually. One at a time. Ugh! World's slowest wallet app by far. Sometimes speeds up a tiny bit if I wipe the cache and data, but then I have to reload everything again and takes FOREVER to recreate the wallets, name them, import networks, and set up custom networks, etc. And the browser is so slow, too. I've gotten to hate this app so much. When I do use it, I cry.
