Description
Been using the Metrolink app for a couple months now. It’s basically a public transit app where you can buy tickets right on your phone. Pretty solid if you ride the train or bus regularly.
Here’s what you do – you can buy one-way, round-trip, and even monthly passes in just a few taps. There’s also the ability to store your tickets in the app so you never lose them. And you can even transfer them to a new phone if you get a replacement. Real convenient stuff.
Look, if you ride the train or bus a lot, you’ll probably find this app really useful. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a little confusing at first and there are some occasional glitches – but overall it gets the job done. Worth checking out if you want to ditch the paper tickets.
Editor Opinion
I've tested a bunch of transit apps and Metrolink is one of the better ones. The core functionality works well - buying tickets, storing them digitally, and being able to use your phone as your ticket. It's not the most polished app out there, but it's reliable and does what it needs to do. The ability to easily transfer tickets to a new device is a really nice touch. My only real gripe is that the UI can be a bit clunky at times, but it's not a dealbreaker. If you ride the train or bus regularly, this app will make your life a lot easier.
