← Back to Metronome & Time Trainer by JuHey Justin, could we get a soft click sound setting please the cowbell is driving me nuts and the other sounds are a bit weird aswell! Thank you
It works fine but is very barebones. No features such as playing 16th notes or making specific beats slient (this feature is sort of there but you set a % to randomly mute beats). I'd look for more feature rich apps
Excellent metronome with many useful "extra features". Especially love the "training" mode with challenging speed-up for consistent performance challenges and more rapid development of speed mastery. I use this in my daily practices.
In general great. There's small bug though. The volume settings have two sliders: "master volume" and "metronome volume", and the app does not remember "metronome volume" setting between restarts. After restart it is always 100%.
Please fix the + and - buttons getting stuck down. Also app occasionally just freezes and I have to kill it and come back.
I couldn't get a widget for the app to show up on my phone. I had to open Google play to start the app. It seemed like a good app though
Small bug when setting up Step Up trainer in bars, the metronome will run for the first setting for the desired amount but then will not carry on to the next step and will simply stop.
Great metronome, but did find some bugs: not possible to use space when naming a 'song'; trainer settings are not saved when saving a 'song'
Does what it says on the tin. Docked one star because I find the first beat to be not pronounced enough on a few of the sound options. Maybe that's a preference thing?
Very good app, whit useful extras compared to classic metronomes, the only "bad" thing is that it doesn't work in background mode on Android
Great app! It would be nice if the metronome kept playing when the app is in the background and while the phone is locked.
Laggy and didn't sync with the visuals. Alternative sounds are all bad
Very disappointed. The metronome was mentioned by Steve Stine of GuitarZoom and he showed that you can increase the click speed by running your finger around the dial which looked brilliant. This version doesn't have this feature and you have to tap a plus or minus to get the speed.
Really like the app so far, but the adding songs function is lacking. Only accepts one long string without spaces or dashes. So you can't actually add a song with artist without it being hard to read. Would really like to see this improved.
I like this app but could not see how one can alter the volume and place of the accent, I have written to Justin guitar and developers to ask about this. I have to say whilst there are good features to the app, the customer service if there is a problem with leafcutter was not good. They responded once to my inquiry and then stopped replying so I think I might just delete the app and use an alternative
Small issue in that the app sometimes locks up in that you cannot use the + and - buttons to adjust tempo. This happens semi regularly to me on multiple devices (android phone and tablet). Closing and restarting the app usually fixes it.
It's really a very very nice and useful app to train oneself to gradually increase the speed of tempo ! Voooooowww ! Thanks 🙏 to you and your team ! But can you add one more feature on the screen showing fragments of and a Total Time a person played or practiced the Guitar - like it's in Siundcorset Tuner, please ?!?!?!! So that just glancing at the Screen one can come to know how much time he/she played ?!
I had been looking for a physical metronome that could be programmed to increase termpo at specified intervals. The closest thing I could find was Dr. Beat DB-90, for around 140.00 dollars. I did the math. It was a no-brainer. I installed Justin's Time Trainer on my Android. I was so happy! It directly fulfilled my need. I have full control over the rate and interval of increase. I can do it by time or by number of measures. It sa helped immeasurably!
I like this straight forward metronome. It'd be nice if you could scroll in the metronome bpm instead of having to tap the plus or minus signs. The speed upper feature is my favorite. Also, if you leave the app in the background for a while and come back, you have to close it down and restart otherwise it doesn't work.
