I enjoy this app and it's security. It's new and changing and after coming over from Google Plus a few features are missing. Like circles, invite restrictions, and collection. My only issue is the storage restriction unless you want to pay a monthly fee. I realize you have to make money, but the limitation, restricts how much I'll post. But I like it here

MeWe has good potential, but lots of problems. 1)Photos are downsized 2)No translator, so I can't talk to my foreign friends 3)No contact with developers, they don't respond to feedback 4)Small print and cluttered homepage 5)"Free Speech" groups (porn, etc.)need to be marked as such for those of us who don't want to stumble across them, perhaps a different banner color? These are some of the main reasons why people leave MeWe. Keep working on making improvements, and I'll edit my rating.

This is a solid social media platform. It works as you'd expect, and isn't limited to 4-5 types of emojis for "likes". My only complaint is having to pay to be able to organize your feed/photos etc, and it's a monthly charge at that. I do think the charge could be a little lower in price for a reoccurring charge, but I understand why the charge is there. Overall the feel is great and people aren't being sensored like on FB.

The notifications page doesn't work. I Uninstaller and installed at least 20 times. Then it will work for a minute and then an error message comes up. The follow option is useless. How can you see at least the person's bio that asks to follow you,, before I make the decision to allow someone to my profile it would be nice to see their page first. This used to be a 5 star rated app. Sad

I've had this ao for almost 2 years. At first was very confusing and the bots were terrible. Thankfully thats under control now. Give it time. Lots of people are switching from the Dark side so the mewe ap is going to be a little glitchy. I've never been asked to pay for anything. There are options for extras that you have to pay for but the reg mewe profile is free. Groups are free. To have a business page its 1.99 a month. Love this ap.

I get a loading symbol on *every* screen. I tried this app on my tablet with internet, on my phone with service, and with internet on my phone. The loading happens for a good 30-50 seconds, which doesn't seem that long until you add in that it happens with every click. I really want to give this platform a chance but I cannot even run my group efficiently because of the ungodly loading. It struggles to load chats and groups as well as notifications.

Definitely has evolved into a much better app than it has used to be. Still has a few bugs but is overall a great social media app. However, I am having problems staying in other people's groups. I can't look at anything but "my communities" even when I try to change it to show me all, then it eventuslly just kicks me out of the group. Could you please fix this. It's starting to annoy me and possibly others.

I like the app. But like others have said; it's a little on the rough side. Perhaps the biggest annoyance I've noticed so far is---- just uploading a meme or even worse, a video---- can prove to be too much for the app to handle. Even with a strong data connection or WiFi, it tends to struggle in uploading a simple meme. And short videos can just fail to upload--- even with high-speed internet. But all-in-all, I like that they're not censoring like Facebook. Kudos. 👌

App will not open. I installed it earlier and set up my account and profile then added some friends. When I was finished with the setup I closed the app. Later in the evening and even now when I click in the app it just takes me to the internet and will no longer open. Update: I deleted and re-installed the app and it had been working flawlessly. The format takes some getting used to but I love how you can join groups that show common interests on your news feed.

Love the feel. Love that there's no ads. like the pay features, but they aren't a necessity. It is a little confusing learning to navagate, & if you've actually been added to groups, since you can see the content either way, but its a great foundation. I haven't figured out if you can add people to different groups but it would be cool to add family to one group, & aquaintences and close friends in seperate groups according to what you want individuals to see. G+ feature I loved.

Been using for about a week now. So far I like it better than FB! Bring and to see your contact only news feed is awesome as is the absence of annoying advertisements. Set up was fairly simple. Trying to go back and add an email on the app just kept giving me errors, but when I used a computer it worked. Give it time and don't get frustrated. Just click around and learn and leave the evil FB forever!

I love this app, as i have been around for a year now. It is now experiencing some major "growing pains" So be expected to experience technical hiccups. I am quite sure MeWe are working to fix the issues ongoing, and you're free to give them feedback. Other than that, i am excited to see the growth of this platform. Most of all, i have lived much more peaceful away from fakeBook, since i made the move!

I love this app! It is so much better than Facebook. I love not having ads, having privacy, and separate news feeds for friends, groups, and pages. It really helps me avoid wasting time. It doesn't spam me with notifications about every little thing I don't care about like FB did. If I just want to catch up with friends, I don't have to look through everything because there is a feed for just that. There are also groups/pages for a wide range of interests. I love the variety of options on here.

I want to like this app but it seems hard to navigate at times. Also, I don't like friend requests showing up in my email, though I did see to unsubscribe that. There also seems to be a lot of double posting and there seems to be a lot to wade through to get back to an article you were interested in. The more groups you can find with your interests is good too. The gold coin buying posts are annoying.

Has potential but needs more work. Albums should be made viewable when I click on photos, what's the point of an album if I can't quickly locate it. They are only on web and not the mobile app. I also think pages should be able to receive messages, and there need to be more categories available. many pet breeders are switching to mewe after change in policies on Facebook have resulted in lost pages. Instead my page is 'pet supplies' which isn't exactly accurate.

Loving it so far! It will take a little getting used to but overall I love that I have more security options for my page than other similar social media apps. It gives me more control over who sees my content and I appreciate it! My news feed is also 100% by me and for me without random propaganda tossed in. Overall pleased. Also, the app is free. If you want more bells and whistles then you pay extra. It's pretty simple. Not sure why other reviewers seem confused.

New user looking for a Facebook alternative. Seems fairly easy to use. I'm not great at learning new platforms, but I've looked all over trying to figure out how one knows who to follow when there is no bio for members to put on their home page to attract new contacts. I'm missing something, clearly. I don't see a user guide. Love the dark theme, but paying for it every month seems a bit much. Hopefully as it grows that can be a free feature. I'm sticking with it.

Not living up to the hype. I joined MeWe as an alternative to another platform because I value the freedom they seem to value. Over the past year (plus) that I've been a member, there seems to be little advancement in functionality. The alerts remain clunky on the app and the site (overall) is still not very intuitive. Additionally, lack of API availability makes integration with my SEO program non-existent.

used to be one of my favorite apps till I did an update on it this morning and now it won't even load up. it started to already drop in stars when yall put a limit on how many videos you could watch in a day. now I can't even get the app to load up at all. thanks for making a good app suck. go ahead and change the name to Facebook 2.0 or something.

Everytime you update the app something gets worse, and it's usually the formatting. For a while it was fixed, and you could single space whenever you move to a second line, but now it automatically changes to double space again. It is probably the most irritating thing I've ever had to deal with on a social media platform and it's really unfortunate. I'd be a lot more pleased if you could fix it. Thanks.
