Reviews for Mi Fitness (Xiaomi Wear)

Where to start? - my band registered my steps, but once I opened the app, couldn't sync all the steps, only 1/5 of them... broken record for me. - The interface is terrible, you have to waste a lot of time until you find where you can edit some specific goals... - I'm thinking to return the band because of this app. I don't recommend it.

Seems a bit incomplete. As far as I can tell there is no way to change weather from Celsius to Fahrenheit. Also, I can't seem to find a way to do a scheduled do not disturb mode. I should sync with my phone but I don't think it is working because I keep getting notifications in the middle of the night. App has good polish but lacks in features.

The app displays everything in widgets on the main dashboard, which itself is presented well enouy. It updates quickly and there have been no problems synching with the band (Mi band 9). However, the dashboard looks a bit crude and I don't like the method used to display the HR, SPO2 or the stress data. The display in these areas is poor and unclear. It doesn't seem to matter how tight the band is on my wrist, the displayed metrics don't show the data clearly enough.

Helped to motivate me into a regular exercise routine. May not be a perfect sports device but for the average person wanting to track training metrics it is ideal. I think the sleep application is not accurate and not sure why. Yes it does record the sleep length but not sure on the accuracy of the REM and so on. Great battery life. I charge it about every 10 days ( as a precaution ) yet it is constantly in use.

So far it's pretty great! The one issue though, that I would really like to request that gets fixed is the irregular heartbeat/ atribrile fibrillation detection which is possible with this device, but not able to be enabled in the global version of the app or the device for some reason. Developers, can you please get this added in so it matches the Chinese version? Thank you so much!

I received a new Xiaomi Band 7 yesterday and spent most of the day in frustration, trying to get it linked to the Mi Fitness app. Back on it today and the Mi Fitness device finally did complete a link. That's the good news. Part of the functions work -- but part of them don't. The device itself is very impressive, but the Mi Fitness app is like it was never ready for release. It's disheartening.

I really like how affordable and customizable it is. I can focus on just the things I want to know. I have a very disordered eating history and I can remove the weight information. I wish I vould remove the calories burned, but I don't think any fitness trackers do that. You can customize your daily goals and set it as low as 500 calories, so it doesn't have to be triggering.

The app is terrible. It never saves goal changes, it often won't sync to the point of having to uninstall and reinstall it. The directions to give the app permission to always run in the background are impossible to follow, the sleep tracker has only worked once, and it takes repeated attempts to get the heart rate monitor to work (although I'm told that could be due to tattoo interference). The hardware is great, but the app ruins it.

I am so disappointed in Xiaomi. I have multiple Xiaomi devices and the hardware is first class, but the software just always lacks something needed to really work. My activities stopped syncing correctly to Strava. It syncs some data, some times, but lately its a 1/3 hit and miss. Now the APP has updated, and it crashes whenever you try to do anything in the app. Clearing cached and stored data does not work. My watch is now, useless as there is no other app to use with the Mi Watch.

This app is good. However, there are some shortcomings. First, the app is not syncing after any workout. That's even when you allow permissions in your phone settings for the app. Secondly, the app is utilizing the Europeon metrics. For instance, it's using kilometers vs miles which is actually used in the USA. This needs to be fixed or many users may find an alternative app for their workouts such as Google Fit. Just my observation.
