The app is a great resource. Micheal explains each step clearly. Although it is annoying the huge void between his talent and mine, oh well more practice.
Love to paint and always looking for new technics and ways to improve and Michael Smith is by far the best realistic painter I have ever followed a must for anyone looking to take there painting to the next level
I have had good results from the lessons I have tried, but more importantly, I have had fun painting while following the tutorial.
It is an excellent step by step but needs to explain which brushes are being used so we may acquire them and paint along exactly as he does instead of trying to interpret which ones he is using.
If you want to learn landscape painting just go with it . Michael James techniques are simple and easy But so effective I must recommend just try it's one's it's worth the time and money
Just completed my second tutorial. I'm trying the beginner to intermediate grade. They are challenging for me but Michael gives a very detailed step by step guide and I am enjoying learning all the time.
I have done 3 paintings and I must say I have learned so much!! Not at all the quality of Michael's paintings, but still. I will never be alle to do it so fantastic, ever. He is absolutely amazing. What an honour to learn from him. Thank you!!!
I love the way Michael teaches and paints. I paint from photos, too, but needed to slow down. I love the detail he paints in all his paintings.
Great resource. I only gave it 4 stars due to it's relatively small selection of videos, NOT due to their quality! I wish the player would allow you to zoom in for greater detail.
So far watching these videos is very inspiring!! I love landscapes and I love how detailed they are. I can't wait to dive in on my first oil painting attempts of the ocean waves, and then on the big fall colored tree.
