Been using Military Retirement for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps you figure out your retirement pay if you served in the military. Pretty solid if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do: you just enter some info about your service and it’ll estimate your monthly retirement pay. There’s also a comparison tool where you can look at different scenarios. It’s got some pretty detailed algorithms to get the numbers right. Took me a while to figure out all the features but it’s useful.

Look, if you’re getting ready to retire from the military, you’ll probably find this app helpful. It’s not perfect – doesn’t have everything, I guess – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you wanna get a sense of what your retirement pay might be.

So here's my honest take on Military Retirement. I've tested a bunch of finance apps and this one's pretty solid. The calculations seem accurate and it's nice that there's no login or personal info required. Doesn't have every feature under the sun, but it covers the basics well. Probably not a must-have if you're super into finance apps, but if you just need a simple retirement calculator, this gets the job done.

Very buggy. Unable to switch between saved configurations... unable to open certain windows to affect changes. For a $6 app you would expect it to work.
