This app is junk. It is not consistently reliable. The gym uses it to schedule classes we want to attend but sometimes the app doesn't load properly. I open and close it multiple times trying to get it to work. Minutes later I'll get a notification saying "Something went wrong. Please try again later." When it does work, the workfloe is kludgey. Too many clicks to get to what you want

The search doesn't work properly, really difficult to find the business by name, the search doesn't use the location you enter it will only take your current location. The app charges you a $2 "convenience fee" to buy a pass, which is ridiculous. I use other scheduling software all the time and have never encountered this. They adopted the 'spot pricing ' which is super frustrating, by the time you check out the app fails because the price has changed, you get to start over from the search.

App is unreliable and frankly useless. Came to read the reviews and so glad I'm not alone. I tried the app on 2 different phones, uninstalled and reinstalled, restarted both phones... and still get the same problem: it won't sync/recognize the pass I paid for so I can schedule classes. Have had to book directly through the fitness company via phone which completely defeats the purpose of this app. Already reached out to the customer service/ support email. So frustrating!

8.30.2020Terrible! I logged in and all of my classes were completely gone. I tried logging out and logging back in and it wouldn't let me log back in. Tried installing and it kept saying "Something went wrong, try again in a few." It would recognize my email, but not the password nor would it send me a reset link. **Updated 9.3 The support is responsive and after a week or so, got it working again. Was happy I had an alternative for scheduling during this time because class times fill quickly.

App is extremely unreliable, constantly logs you out, then when you log in your saved places are gone. Always having to reinstall. Class sizes are limited due to covid which is understandable, but it will sign you in and send a text that you got in then you show up to class to find out your not. Very frustrating. Wouldn't recommend this app!!! I wish my gym would use a different app.

Appalling app. Not even usable. Crashes over and over. Can't even get past the home screen. I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, restarting the phone - nothing works. I just got a brand new phone and the issue is exactly the same. Ridiculous. This app shouldn't even be available on the store until this is rectified. This has been going on for months! It used to be so great. Fix it!

It's getting worse over time. I have a membership for unlimited classes in two studios. I used to be able to have my default search for fitness classes to filter to those two studios, show me all classes available, sorted by time. This was very convenient. Now it only shows me a bunch of locations, and when I go to classes they are sorted in random times, I need to manually apply the studio filters.

Update: June 2023 the app still does not make the drop in class the default option. FIX THIS Look I get it, you've told me every time for the past 3 months. My local yoga studio has a two week unlimited deal intro offer. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stop trying to force me to buy the intro offer. It's not great news. I do not want it and I have to undo it and change it to a drop in every time I try to book a class. This is beyond annoying and I feel like I am being tricked.

The ads after booking a class are annoying, unnecessary and intrusive. Screw you guys for being greedy and putting ads there. Find a way to make money some other way for the sake of the customers that are forced to use your app since that's the only one the gym uses. I liked this app before this new update. 2 stars. Editing: When prompted to leave feedback about the app in the app, the email address it sends the email to is not deliverable. Fix it!

Only works about half the time I open it. Sometimes it doesn't open at all, other times I'll sign in but it won't recognize it, or I get "Whoops. Something went wrong..." I've reported to support, and both times was told to uninstall/reinstall, but when that works, it's only for one or two uses. It's just become too frustrating. I HAVE to use Mindbody to sign up for classes at my Y, else there's no way I'd keep trying to use it. Now I usually wait to be on a PC and go that route.

Enbleepification complete. The only reason to have this app is because it's required for a lot of classes. They've cornered the market, so they can make the app as bad as they want and users are already locked in. There are pop-up ads Every Time you sign up for anything, it nags you to share (advertise for them), and it's very hard to find the new classes/studios you want unless they're paying to advertise. If you can do without it I highly recommend doing so.

Mindbody had always been slow & clunky on my device, taking several minutes to open/complete a reservation, but at least tolerably functional. That's changed; now I'm being logged off every single time I open from a different location, and can't log back in, as I enter my un/pw over and over with no feedback why it's not working. Sometimes clearing app data works, sometimes doesn't. Increasingly angry at needing to use this irritating app for my gym.

Update: Can't log in. This company doesn't care. sent them feedback and no replies I wish there wasn't a cap on the number of words for reviews. I had to delete my previous review to make an update as to how terrible @mindbodyapp has gotten. It was already very bad with locating yoga studios in different cities. But now the app every single time I open it, it reloads and when I click on the studio of choice it just goes to a loading screen. Without a doubt the worst app I'm forced to use.

Edit: I updated the app, and the issue remains. ----- for the past few days, every time I click on my dance studio, in place of the schedule page, the screen is blank that says "coming soon", "please call [studio] for more information" and a call button. nothing else visible.

anybody having some consistent log in issues with the app these days? almost always it says the session has timed out and I need to log in. And now when I go to log in with Google, I end up in an error loop "OOPS". Also the app often shows the schedule for the wrong day. These issues are starting to outweigh the convenience of signing up for classes through the app. please advise.

Unable to rely on calendar syncing for class registrations causes me to miss classes I signed up for weeks in advance . In addition, app has started to insert offers for other products when registering for classes. This is disruptive, not exactly a mind-body experience. Update 5/20/2025 - when booking classes, often shows the wrong day's class schedule. requires multiple refreshes to show correct schedule - logged me out and won't let me log in

update. I was connected to an actual customer support rep and they were responsive and gave me suggestions. Ultimately I fixed my issue in a roundabout way, but I appreciate the fairly quick live support. ----- like other recent reviews I can no longer log into the app. it just says "oops something went wrong" this is after it randomly logged me out. the AI support chat says I should just create a new account with a different email address, which is not convenient.

This app has always been glitchy and frustrating, despite its usefulness. Now, however, it is completely nonfunctional. I have restarted the app, I have deleted and reinstalled, I have cleared cookies, I have deleted data, I have done everything I can think of. And still, it has logged me out and I can no longer log in anymore. Going through the login process just sends me back to the home page of the app as a guest. Thankfully I can still log in on my pc, but this is just absurd.

Lately it's been logging me out and refusing to allow me to log back in. I'll enter my info, it'll log in then immediately pop up that my session has expired. I've restarted my phone, force quit the app, completed all the standard "app glitch fixes"... but suddenly the app is just trash. It's been about a month of this now. I'm only keeping the app because it's the only way I have to sign up for my fitness classes ahead of time. Otherwise, I despise this app.

The app worked great until recently. Over the past few months, when I book certain days, it will either not book or it will book a different day. It's been frustrating, and I've lost time and money. It's been happening with two separate studios I attend regularly. After following basic protocols of uninstalling and updating the app, their response was, "I've exhausted all available resources related to your concern." Disappointing that they're taking no responsibility for their app problem.
