Description
Been using minimalist phone®: Launcher for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that turns your phone into a stripped-down, focused interface to help you stay productive. Pretty solid if you’re into that kind of thing.
Here’s what you do: you can set time limits for different apps, filter out notifications, and generally just have a more pared-down home screen. There’s also a “do not disturb” mode which is pretty cool. And you can customize which apps show up – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.
Look, if you’re trying to cut down on mindless phone time and boost your focus, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the settings can be a little confusing at first – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on minimalist phone®: Launcher. I've tested a bunch of productivity apps like this and this one's pretty solid. The core features work well and it's easy to set up. I like that it's not overly complicated - just simple tools to help you stay on task. At the same time, the settings can be a bit tricky to navigate at first. And I found that after a while, the minimalist look and feel can start to feel a little boring. But overall, if you're looking for a no-frills way to cut down your screen time, this is a good option to try.
