This app accessed my camera when not used! I haven't used it in weeks, and this AM, I got a notification alert on my phone saying the app was accessing my camera when it was closed (something that's never happened before), not in use, and hadn't been in use in like a month! Obviously, I would strongly recommend you not download this app.

Editing review from 5/8/14 : Why is there now an ad while app is being used?! Greed!! It's never fullscreen to begin with, since there's ALWAYS an ad at the top. Now it completely stops you from using the app! Have an ad there when the app launches, not right in the middle of it being used! Original review said this was the best mirror available, but now I don't think so. I thought this was the only mirror I'd need, but I didn't expect the developer to be so greedy. I'll go try the other mirrors

This app is awesome!! Better than a mirror and so convenient. It even records little gifs or clips. Love it! I lost my little compact mirror and my eyeshadow is too big to be carrying around so I searched for a mirror app on Google play assuming there had to be at least one and found this one. The best part is you are camera ready after using this app to primp yourself!! I'm glad I don't have to use the actual camera app that came with the phone. No struggling with keeping the screen on!

I gave this app 4 stars originally. Then I discovered that it would display a full screen popup ad when you exited. Obviously this app is freeware and there will be ads, but full screen ads that require a 2nd exit are unacceptable to me. I will not use this app again. Ads are fine, but these should not be full screen popup ads, especially those that will not allow the phone to go to sleep. Customer service reached out with a nice letter, so I have revised my review. I wish that they would restore the app to the previous version which did not have full screen ads.

I haven't had this app for very long but I have to say that it has already actually improved my life. I have some mobility issues and this app enables me to for instance, find a dropped earring in my shag-type carpeting. I can use my phone to scan the area and make a short 3D video which I can then enlarge and view frame by frame, and that's just one example. I find this app to be endlessly useful and I highly recommend it.

Unfortunately it takes too much memory... ☹️ After reading some reviews, and because I LOVE your Calculator apps (Calculator Plus and Fraction Calculator Plus), I saw this today and said THAT'S WHAT I'VE BEEN NEEDING! I started to install it but then realized I would have had to delete 8 of the apps on my phone to do so! 😱 That's just too much memory. Can you possibly get the size down, so pple like me can use it? Now THAT would be awesome! 😁

This app is just great, as example, the camera stock app that brings with the Unihertz Tank 3 is terribly bad, taking obscure and dark pictures, I installed Mirror Plus and I was blown away to see in front of my eyes, beautiful selfies, sharp, the best of the cream, I can believe that the producers of a phone can not make things right and we, the buyers, need to use third part software to be possible to use the phone!!!! I thank you very much for having make my buggy phone a better one, thanks

Handy as hell in rooms that don't have a mirror when you need to fix your hair real quick.

i have google camera why would i need this.... no why would anyone need such an app when they can just use the default camera... so yeah ig the reviews are fake

Mirror app works very well indoors at night. Not quite as well during day. It's slightly grainy indoors but honestly the app is only limited by your front-facing camera's (FFC) aperture, pixel count and the phone's processing power. Also, the FFC is typically a fishbowl-type lens which makes it tough -- (nay, impossible) to give you a flawless, UHD type. video feed like you would see if you were using the rear-facing camera.

Yet another one that presents you with the new version of the cookies thing being increasingly used by many more apps these days, consisting of a never ending list of "vendor preferences" that you have to uncheck if you want to reject cookies. Some apps and sites have literally hundreds of vendors that you need to uncheck the legitimate interest option. NOBODY wants this, WHY can't you just give us a "Reject All" button??? UPDATE: Mandatory? I have dozens of apps that don't have this.

Used to be 5 stars, but not now. Using an LG G7 ThinQ, I can no longer take a picture, and I can't enlarge the image. All I get is vertical colored lines when taking a picture, and the enlarge image function does nothing. I have reinstalled the app, which didn't help. Very disappointed.

I like the 3d picture feature a lot. You can take a 3d selfie around you head really easy with on hand but the flaw is I could only look at it while the app was still open because I can't find any way to save it to look at it later. Once I close the app, it is gone. I still gave 5 stars in hope the will add a save button. The 3d camera looks really good on Moto g6 but if I can't save 3d photos. It just a one time use thing each time. I want to be able to save and send 3d photos.

The clarity is amazing, and a really excellent zoom enables me to get a "lash by lash" view to apply mascara flawlessly. The 5th star would be there but for the slight (microseconds) lag time. I had to train my hand/eye movement to adjust for it when performing an action Iike putting on lipstick or mascara. I'm not sure it's even possible to do away with that tiny time trip because the camera has to read the image and then return it back to the user. Regardless, this is the best mirror app ever!

Adds a few nice features to the camera to make a good mirror tool. (Originally shared in 2015) edit 2021: I liked this app enough to pay for it a few years ago. I've found it useful on many occasions. It's very handy for seeing behind things. I've used it to get model and serial numbers from the back of computers and printers many times over the past few years. It's better than the normal camera app for this because you can do a quick freeze and if you didn't get it, just unfreeze and try again.
