Reviews for Misfits Market Grocery App

The app is good, but the prices aren't. It seems like theres mostly organic stuff, and the prices are more than you'd pay for regular stuff at any supermarket Ive been to. Since organic labels do not matter to me, theres very little I can get into, YMMV. Also it automatically gives you a cart periodically, and doesnt require approval for individual orders, you absolutely have to check it weekly or you WILL get boxes you don't want.

excellent selections and great quality food, but I don't see as much of that diversity, they're always advertising, they're a bit expensive, and they don't have basic cooking ingredients...things like corn starch, and baking powder, etc., :( kind of a let down, I wish i could all my groceries in 1 place. They're excellent about returns or the occasional ruined food, what ever the case may be and always on time with delivery!

Horrible experience. The only way to see what they offer is to sign up and commit to using their service. There's no way to browse what they offer. They want you to blindly sign up, blindly accept what they populate your cart with, blindly accept their delivery day (you can't choose), blindly accept their shopping window, and agree to accept a delivery every week. You get the option to pause and cancel if you'd like, but I don't need the added over head of having to remember one more bs thing.

It's just a scam thing. I just liked their concept constantly coming in my social media and just visited their site. There was a mandatory payment method addition, which they said will never charge without our consent. But the next morning, I see a charge of 41$ in my bank account, and once I see their app, it says order windows are closed. I never selected a delivery date, added any tips , and asked for any subscription. They just asked only my food preferences like a quiz. Such a scam.

Update: I've canceled my subscription as delivery days are now set and don't work for me. Original Review: I like Misfits Market, but the app is total garbage. Takes about 5-10 minutes to do anything... Add an item to add to my cart, navigate to a different page, open an item description, view my cart... You name it, it takes forever. I usually just give up and use a browser to go to the website instead. What's the point of even having an app if it's not functional?

I've been using Misfits Market for about 2 months now & couldn't be happier! The app is very easy to use! Every time I shop, I see new items I haven't seen before. They have a great selection of meats, fruits & veg, snacks, dairy & more! I've only received 2 items that were expired & they immediately rectify the problem by reimbursing me! I honestly can't complain! It's been such a convenience for me & I look forward to my Tuesday deliveries every week!

There is a Flex option that is not the subscription plan which you are only charged when you create your own basket. However, if I recall correctly, I did not see this option presented to me when I signed up. I tried emptying my cart to not be charged until I was ready. I didn't realize every two weeks they will automatically create and ship the cart. I was charged $55 I'll need before my next paycheck. I wish I had seen the Flex option from the start when signing up.

The app appears to have some digital issues, causing freezes and crashes frequently. Often had to restart the app to place my first order. I was charged twice, once for a basket I wasn't allowed to order as it occurred before my shopping window reopened. I liked the concept of reducing food waste but ultimately found Martie to be a lot less costly and more user friendly while along similar principles. It's also incredibly difficult to remove your card once you try the service.

I love Misfits Market and the great organic produce they deliver to me. I downloaded the app thinking it would be convenient, but I can't get it to work. The bottom menu bar does not work so I can't check my cart or my account or check for products. I've left it open but ut hasn't helped. I still must use the desktop site. Bummer! Please fix!

The interface is totally different on my phone and tablet! I was really looking forward to trying this out, only to discover it point blank will not work sometimes. The shopping pages will not load on my tablet, but it has easier to navigate menus. Really don't enjoy hunching over my tiny smartphone to do something that should be accessible on my, well, accessible device! Please, please let me fully use the service and app equally no matter the source device! I want to be a customer.

Software needs serious work. Was a subscription member until today, when I complained about the last two boxes they sent me (without reminders!). I paused the subscription briefly for cost reasons, and the subscription resumed recently. I am signed up for texts, and did not receive any about my shopping window opening, so they sent me random stuff. The problem is, they sent me unusable stuff that makes no sense! Then canceled my subscription when I complained about their poor software picks.

New customers beware. if you add items to a cart and then later decide to remove them all, they WILL STILL CHARGE YOU and send out the order. This company uses predatory tactics to steal your money. This is an issue that I've just learned has happened to a lot of people. Reporting them to the Better Business Bureau, which they've also have 500 recent complaints with, mostly for the reason I'm describing. Watch out.

SCAM!!!! Do not buy from this app or even create an account. I did because I was checking it out anyway. All of a sudden, I started getting boxes that I never agreed to get. We unsubscribed and deleted our account, and they are still taking money out of our account!! I am beyond annoyed and will go to the bank first thing in the morning with this issue! Its absolutely NOT okay, and furthermore, they should not be allowed to have access to your bank account!!

Warning, this app will automatically charge you after signing up if you don't intentionally cancel an order. It automatically fills your cart with random stuff and then the next day they charge you for it. I wasn't told upon signing up that I was actually subscribing to a service that would start charging me without my consent. Also, the prices seem way too high for intentionally inferior products. Can do better at the grocery store.

Looks like a great concept. When researching, a "Flex" option was listed. The flex was not supposed toauto fill your cart and let you decide when you wanted to order and what. Which would be awesome for those with food allergies and sensitivities. However, when trying to sign up, there is only an automated subscription service option. Very disappointing as the subscriptions also said they would come on a day of the week that wouldn't work for me, and the day of the week could not be changed.

Too small for the portion size this is expensive. I used it for a few months thinking I'd get the big pieces of fruit or vegetables that were miss-shaped. Nope, I got all the way small ones. The meat is small portions as well. I'll stick with Aldi I saw ur response. Yes it does say it could be small as the misshapen or shaped odd. But my orders were always very small. For the price not worth it to me due to this. As far as the meat. I like mine fresh. Especially at these prices 🫠

I was excited to hear about this app, but they require your card info just to join. So you can't even see what kind of items or pricing they offer before you sign up (or during a subscription pause. I hate it 😑). And subscription options are limited to weekly or every other week. I'd rather have the option to order as needed and also to choose how many weeks apart (for the folks only ordering sometimes). FYI there is a $35 minimum, $9.99 shipping, and extra charges for cold packs. Disappointed.

Horrible experience. Tried it for the first and last time. Went through the whole pick your own items thing during the time frame available, saved it, got a random box of nothing I wanted instead. ON TOP OF THAT, 1 eggplant was rotten and mushy, the other had mold, the box of crackers was wet and crushed at the bottom of the box, and I could have bought all the contents at the grocery store for about $30 but paid $55 through misfits market.

Subscription based. When I saw ads about this app, I didn't think it mentioned that it's was Subscription based. it says your card won't be charged if you don't place and order, fine print is what told me it was a subscription, and said that your card would be charged unless you canceled. this would be a good idea. it also has limited dietary restrictions. I'm lactose intolerance, and it wasn't shown when creating an account.

great idea, love the concept, but fix the app. I am on the fence about signing up but the app *insists* on having my credit card information to even create an an account. I wanted to browse what was available before I made a decision before signing up, now I'm put off completely. I wanted to look at prices before entering in *any* debit/credit card information. Now, I don't want to sign up at all.
