Reviews for MiXplorer Silver File Manager

Vishal Gajipra

Been using this app for years. It does everything I need it to do and it does it well. Allows me to manage the files on my phone, view them using the apps pdf viewer, video player, image viewer etc. And let's me transfer stuff from my NAS to my phone and vice versa with ease. Keep up the good work

Cant seem to view files. I am trying to look at files on a seagate slim USB 500 Gig drive. The files show up for about a second then disappear. Using a Pixel 3XL with the included OTG adapter. When I try and sendlog I am unsure what to send HasteBin,PasteBin? And to what email? Thank you Edit to my review It is working fine this morning! I believe the issue was with my Pixel 3 battery level. I had been trying for awhile to get this to work with other file managers. So perhaps the battery on the pixel did not provide enough to the hard drive to complete the request.

Absolutely amazing file manager. I used to file manager hop before settling on this app, going from ES to Solid Explorer to this. This does what those did and way more. I do have a few issues though, like the media player going to the beginning of a song when switching apps to it. I also really wish MiX had Pixeldrain support as a person who uses that platform a lot. Other than that though, it's the best file manager on the Play Store. Definitely worth supporting.

The best file manager, archiving utility, network share browser, batch renaming tool, metadata viewer and more, available on Android. Has been for many years. Wouldn't even consider recommending any alternatives. Leaps and bounds above stock Android Files app, but also brings such a useful combination of features and tools to the table that the other third party file apps lack. Top it off with a fully skinnable interface and root user support and it's a no brainer: Every new device gets MiX.

This is the best file manager for Android. I used the XDA version for years but got silver to support the developer. The interface is clean but powerful, and the add-ons add capabilities not found in most file managers (especially the SMB one to mount a remote file system from my NAS) this is one of those "if you know, you know" apps that everyone SHOULD have, and is one of the first five apps I install on any new device. That it only has 50k downloads is a travesty.

!Absolutely the best file explorer! This Application has all of the bells and whistles. Plus.. it's not as better at it's job than the more expensive ones. There is a free version too!!(if you're keen on spending money on your apps.) It has EVERYTHING but the kitchen sink. Not to mention you can use it for nefarious reasons. If a person were so inclined. They have put a lot of work into making it awesome. "Buy the Silver Edition. "You won't be disappointed.

I've used mix for probably about 5 years and was finally able to afford to buy the silver version (after having it on my wish list since about the time it was released). And I gotta say, I still love it. Plus I'm happy I no longer need to download all these extra add-ons! And I get to support the dev!! I also like the new features (ie the homepage) and how it's all so fluid and fast on my pretty old, cheap phone ❤️

It's the best file explorer I've used, it does nearly everything I want perfectly. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because doesn't "re-display" wide and/or tall images when I zoom in, so they can look really blurry. Unfortunately, that's a major use case for me, so I have to open them in other apps (but then I can't scroll between images). If it wasn't for that issue, it'd be perfect.

I bought this a while ago intending it to be my general file manager/explorer, however this app can do so much more. It is well worth the money if you are an android power user and can stand in the place of probably a dozen other apps on its own. I would caution anyone who just needs something to move files around every now and then or occasionally rename them that this is probably overkill. It is quick, effective, and seemingly always has a tool built in to do a job when i have a problem.

There's no reason to keep looking for a file manager. This is the only one. I tried a couple dozen file managers before I ran into the free version of this one on XDA and Ive been using it ever since. You can get all the same functionality from the free one (which is still way more than what comes with most of the paid file managers), but somebody has clearly put a ton of time in on this, so why not buy them a coffee?
