Far too buggy to be useful. My meal plans regularly delete themselves (I'll open the app to an empty plan). A lot of ingredients will appear twice in the shopping list (e.g. sometimes "mint" will be separate to "fresh mint") so you have to go back and update the order. Gave 2 stars as the recipes are nice and are interesting but the actual planning functionality just doesn't work.
Reviews for Mob: Delicious Meal Planning
Laggy app. App lags and I hoped it would be more customisable ito food allergies and substitutions. I'm allergic to poultry and most of the recipes require chicken and if not salmon which is excessively expensive where I stay.
Good recipes, but the Magic Meal Planner is disappointing. It keeps repeating the same meals instead of using the full range available. Not as convenient or varied as I hoped when I subscribed. Reported to Mob however you're dealing with an AI chatbot.
On the whole this is a good meal planning app, but several of the recipes have inaccuracies and errors. One major flaw is the inability to share recipes with family members. I do the majority of the meal planning but I don't always do the cooking. I'd like to be able to share the recipe fully with my adult children or husband on the nights I don't get home in time to cook, instead I have to do multiple screen shots. Please could we have share functionality?
I tried the free week but didn't go ahead and subscribe. I was hoping for ideas for something healthier and less calorific than lunchtime sandwiches. While the recipes here are delicious, even the healthly options are very high in calories. 600+ for a lunch! I copied a few down to use in the future, but didn't feel it's worth paying for.
The app is good...when it works! I've not been able to use it all this month, despite being a paying customer. I get stuck behind the paywall, asking me to become a subscriber and the app just seems to break every time you try and find a solution.
I’m vegetarian and had updated my profile, but when I tried to make a plan, it didn’t sync with my preferences. The app also wouldn’t let me change them, which felt like a big technical issue. So I ended up unsubscribing and deleting the app :(
this app requires you to pay a yearly subscription for recipes that can be found absolutely anywhere else on the internet. It gives a seven day trial, except you're sent an invoice after three days telling you to pay for it. avoid like the plague.
Yet another disappointing app to hop on the trend of concealing the fact it has no free version until after wasting some amount of your time in a half-arsed attempt to manipulate you into thinking you might as well pay since you've already invested in it. Not to mention a very poorly-designed interface: the names of the recipes aren't even fully visible for goodness' sake. If you're not willing to blindly trust this app with your money, don't bother even installing. What rubbish.
The app is largely unusable for me. It'll at some point decide to show nothing but a white screen when opening it and force stopping, clearing cache or data, restarting the phone - nothing fixes it. Only reinstalling. Very disappointing.
