Cannot say enough good about the support from MobiLinc X staff. I have worn them out with questions from a 4 year old account and within 24 hours I am fully operational again. Cannot understand how anyone would want more control and access than MobiLinc X provides for ISSY devices with constant ideas and updates being developed. So glad to be back after trying 4 other apps. $9.99 a month is well worth the app.

I am a long time Universal Devices and MobiLinc customer. This upgrade (MobiLincX) is terrific and has all the functionality a power user would need to control smart home devices. The interface is clean and intuitive. Product support is very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this app.

This is a substantial leap forward for MobiLinc, a product I have depended on for several years. The ability to integrate so many device types in a single app makes this a winner. Great support and a very robust pipeline of enhancements, all visible from the app!

After waiting about 4 years for an update to mobilinc pro I couldn't get past the expensive perpetual monthly fee. Don't mind paying a reasonable price for an app but not forever more sorry.

Too buggy compared to competitors, too expensive compared to competitors. Definately too expensive for Amazon and IFTTT integrations if you use the app very little. $9.99/month compared to $2.08/month for 2 years reduced to $1.08/month thereafter for ISY Portal.

Really like the app and the functionality, but it stopped working when I upgraded my Galaxy S8 to a Galaxy S24. It crashes immediately upon clicking on the home page icon. Please fix the app to work on the Galaxy S24 and future Samsung phones.

Was a good app, but now the subscription price makes it cost prohibitive. Use Agave instead - one time purchase price gives you all the features at half the price of the Mobilinc yearly subscription. With Agave you need the ISY portal

Easier to use. One click and on or off. Much faster and easy to use. Update 6/27/24. Got a new Samsung S24 Ultra and mobilync wontlaunch. Keeps shutting down. I know they are supporting ISY anymore but it would be nice to still have a working app.

Great improvement from prior mobilinc apps, especially across platforms since I am an Android user and the rest of my family is IOS. Needs a few more features and flexibility but the developer is working on it. The developer is also very responsive to questions and help. What more can you ask for? Nothing is free. We all pay for the "free" apps with our personal data such as shopping preferences and viewing advertising Market share for an isy app is not big enough to pay the developer with that.

Updated (2019-12-18): Worked with Wes (and he's fantastic in working with and responding to support emails). The new UX is extremely enhanced as compared to the original MobiLinc. I only need local-only mode, so I was waiting until the software was updated with that mode. Now that I've had some time to play with it, the functionality is really great. I was originally going to rate this as a 3, because of the price, and initial growing pains, but Wes's action in responding to support requests pushes this to 4 stars. I would love to rate it a 5, but the price is holding me back from that. ORIGINAL: Complete ripoff. I already purchased MobiLinc and now the company is trying to get more greedy with a completely ludicrous monthly cost. Most of us pay for quality components like the ISY so that we don't have to rely on cloud providers. I used to VPN into my home network, I never use any of the "cloud" services for IoT. Such a shame.

Bought a lifetime subscription to MobiLinc Pro. They renamed it to MobiLinc X and want to charge me again. Mobilinc's website at the time stated that it could be installed to other Android devices. I got a new Pixel phone, and they have removed MobiLinc Pro from the store, and want to charge full price for MobiLinc X. There is no 14-day trial of the cheapest plan. I fear they will just cancel X and ship MobiLinc Y or something in a few months and then I'll be out the price again.

You've got to be kidding me. Used MobiLincPro for years with my ISY, and been fighting with an app that constantly force closes, so I finally go looking why I've not gotten an update, and find this. Nope. I'm not paying $75 to replace an app I paid $20 for, and can't test the functionality without making an account. You've done it wrong, and you've done an injustice to your previously devout customers. MLX has been uninstalled, and I won't be back. ✌️

While I'm not a fan of the monthly fee associated with this app, I do understand that in order to have an app that works as good as this one, the company needs support. That being said, Mobilinc X works as well if not better than Pro but the look and feel by far blow the old apps out of the water. On top of that, customer support responded quickly to help me navigate the setup process.

Used mobilinc pro for many years because it was affordable. This app is not worth what you have to pay. Enabled the ISY portal for 12 dollars a year and got access to all I need for remote access through any device with a web browser not just my phone. Been fun mobilinc but time for us to part company, best of luck. EDIT TO ADD. Now developer is offering a one time payment option, but I did that once and that app just disappeared one day. Trust is a easy thing to lose, like money. You lost both.

Don't support Wes, he'll take your money and run just like what he did with the previous MobiLinc application. Deciding to pull it from the Play Store, maybe for legitimate reasons, is fine, but refusing to provide previous purchasers a fair path for support, either through grandfathering into this app or supplying APK for previous app without being locked into a subscription, is not how you treat your customers. It's his right to exercise, but it is also our right to not support this business.

Did not use app and uninstalled immediately. Greedy developer wants money every month to use the app. Do NOT subscribe to this nonsense! Update (May 2021): Universal Devices has their own FREE app that does everything your computer interface does. No extra$ for upgrades and BS subscription s.

Not at all impressed that the App I paid $20 has been removed and replaced with this subscription based app. I understand you may have changed to a subscription model but why not leave the old app for those like me who just updated phones and now I have no way to reinstall the app that I used daily. Very unhappy about this.

Rating is for this garbage company. I bought a license for mobilinc pro. It is now (years later) saying the app isn't licensed and to contact mobilinc support. Their response: it's an old app, you should be happy it worked as long as it did and buy the new one. No, you should keep your word. Mobilinc pro works fine for me, you're just saying I'm not licensed to get more of my money.

Ripoff. I've already got a license for mobilinc pro that is essentially perpetual. Now you are arbitrarily discontinuing that app but only on android. It continues forward on iOS. You are replacing it with an app that does the same things but I've got to pay a subscription for it. Mobilinc pro was seldom updated for years. I have no confidence you will update this app. I'm not paying you a subscription fee to gouge me and do nothing. I will find an alternative and no longer recommend mobilinc.

I guess the subscription model is what's been in fashion and keeps a steady and for the most part fixed income. That said, it seems expensive to close my garage door once or twice every year when I forget too. Hopefully the scene creation will be some added value. T he number of apps and subscriptions that are $7ing me it starting to become a much larger number. I know keep a list of all subscription services, dont want to have the perpetual subscriptions that you stop using and forget about.
