this app is awesome and I wish I'd have known about it sooner. worth every penny as a DJ, I now have EXCLUSIVE digital instrumentals and acapellas that nobody else has...not even the labels sometimes! as a producer, I've got drums, basslines and melodies, harmonics, even background vocals separated and tracked out as if I were in the studio in the 70's and had the foresight to be collecting stems. I've probably given away too much game in this review. thank you Moises!🙏💯 can I beta test 4 u?
Reviews for Moises: The Musician's AI App
← Back to Moises: The Musician's AI AppThe app is pretty cool. I paid, but I'm a bit disappointed that hi-fi referred to algorithm separation and not the export quality/format which I wish I had control over. Also, why are all the chords one block back from when they actually go into effect? As a musician, that makes it confusing if you're trying to watch it and play along with piano or guitar, because you actually have to play the note the next beat or beat and a half after it shows. It's this way on pretty much every song tried.
I've looked for so many solutions to isolating song parts so I can hear them clearly as I continue on my guitar learning journey. I tried this one figuring it would work as well as any other...which would be to say not so great. I uploaded one song and was blown away. I am now a paid subscriber. I uploaded "Iron Man" and it pulled the guitar out almost perfectly. Sure, there are still a few weird artifacts left over like vocals, but you can barely hear them. I am stoked about this one.
This app is incredible. I use it to isolate instruments in songs. The quality of the track isn't perfect when youre isolating but its good. Since I've started using it; I have learned so many guitar tracks that were impossible to hear in the mix. Using this; you can control the volume of these four tracks: Vocals; Drums; Bass and Other. The track labeled " Other " is commonly a guitar track or string/brass/winds sections. Best app for dissecting music. You can even save the isolated tracks.
I tried this app and already love it. As for me, being an musician, this app suits well for me I guess. I already have some songs remixed here, and playing a little bit with the musical tools like the instrumental and the bass (I can't unlock more tools unless I pay for premium) however, the only problem is that we have to pay for premium, and also you are forced to pay. after uploading 3 tracks on your list, your forced to pay, even though you delete something. you would still pay for it too...
I have looked at the reviews and seen many people complaining about not being able to upload from youtube, spotify, ect and I think that's really unfair for the people who can't download videos and upload them to this app, just the edit the sound. Though the functions are cool, and useful, so I rate this 2 stars. Maybe in the future, if you change from only being able to upload downloads to also using links, it would definitley be 5 stars.
Was planning on buying the full version but there is only the option to pay for a subscription. At the annual discounted rate ($40!), this would end up costing hundreds or thousands of dollars if I kept it for more than a couple years. What a ripoff! Full version should be a one-time purchase. Beware, unpaid version limits the app in the following very restrictive ways: No metronome 5 minute song limit Monthly song limit Also, processed audio file quality just "ok"
Never received the "Confirm Your Email" email, so the app won't let me upload any songs. And no option to resend email. And yes, it's the correct email. However, no problems receiving all the popups to hurry and subscribe for a premium account. Also, data mining and sharing with 3rd parties. That's double-dipping when you're charging an annual subscription fee. Uninstalling.
The quality of the separation is insane. This is by far the best song separation application I've ever used. This is crazy, it got the low growls in metal screaming to the intense tempos with perfect accuracy to some of the songs I made specific to test these apps. Immaculate, it hardly ever missed a beat, and when it did it was for a single beat or two. Never lasted and would rarely lower the volume due to so much going on. It separates great. 10/10 app
This app is amazing. I was searching for apps that could separate the music and vocals. All of the apps and websites I have used before always muffled the audio. This separated the vocals from the music perfectly! The sound quality of both tracks (vocals and music) are clear and high quality. I would highly recommend this app for anyone interested in music making and audio editing. 👍
after trying it out, I decided to subscribe. I would much prefer to own a program outright as opposed to paying a subscription. however this program works so well that I subscribed anyway. I love how it isolates tracks and allows you to remix them as needed. the chord finder is helpful, as is key changer, tempo control, and looping. there are cheaper options for some of these features, but I haven't found another program that does them all like Moises.
This app is amazing, even with the free version. Tracks are easy to upload, and the vocal, bass, drums, and guitars are separated very well. Makes it incredibly easy to learn guitar and bass parts in songs. I've probably learned more guitar and bass parts to songs recently through this app then in the last month or two than I have previously in the last 3 years! 😅. Very fun, very intuitive and very practical. (Note, songs have to be songs that are public domain,or you bought. No YouTube stuff.)
Barely useable, the tutorial preventing use of the app without the abilitity to skip was a very confusing experience. And once I got through that nightmare, the features are very limited without paying, theres no trial to test what youre gonna be paying for, and honestly what I saw of the tools would be extremely inadequate for most musicians, and you have to pay for even hi-fidelity export. Not worth the time to care. Plenty of tools out there do more for less and are less confusing.
Unbelievable. Never thought it possible. Truly amazing. Separating lead and rhythm so beautifully. Worth every penny. Need a lifetime license option. Using on extended Grateful Dead and Allman Brothers songs and jams. You just made learning any song by ear SO MUCH EASIER/FASTER. Nuances, arpeggios, remove competing keys/organ, it's all there. AI is apparently very cool. Thank you for creating this app. I'll be very busy for the next few months playing the tunes playing in my mind.
I had some concerns with the pricing model early on, but it looks like they've recently updated it to be much more reasonable (unless I just accidentally selected the Pro tier and missed a lower-priced option). I just subscribed for the year, and it's been worth it so far. I mainly use it for chord detection and transcribing lyrics — and the lyric detection is miles ahead of the native Android voice recorder, which I’ve relied on for songwriting. Super useful tool for musicians and writers.
Does exactly what it says on the box believe it or not. It's really insanely impressive! as someone who likes learning the songs I like on my instruments but struggles to find sheet music cuz my music is really niche it fits the bill! They have a little ways to come making everything sound clear and sometimes some tracks won't separate how you'd expect them to but I'm sure they just need time to keep working on it. 10/10
This app is perfect for school music programs. Teaching kids the right notes and testing how they really sound by removing the vocals works so well. It is also good for playing by ear practice. You can pay for a month or when you will be using more than the FREE monthly allowance. Super easy to pause subscription when your not going to be using it a lot. I love this app!!!!
does what it says, but maybe 2 or 3 times now i've opened the app and all of my saved tracks were just gone. recently i got a new phone and i didn't have all my files backed up, sure, but most account based services don't delete everything from the account between devices. the other time(s), i've opened the app and all of my files were just gone with zero explanation. the five tracks a month, five minute max limit is also egregious, in my opinion.
This works exactly as they show in the ads. In the typical ads I get for this app, they claim that the app can separate different tracks like vocals, bass, melody, etc. When seeing these ads, I thought it was fake or hidden behind a pay wall. I was absolutely wrong and this app exceeded my expectations! It was clean when it came to separating and you don't have to pay to get what it says it does. I will probably be featuring this in a video on my channel sometime and use it for covers. Thank you
Wow! I went to the app, store, looking for a looper app. What I found in this app was way more than that. Not only could I loop, but I can remove the vocals or any other part of the track that I need to remove. Also, the looper has a function to where all you have to do is hit intro, and it will loop the intro or verse or whatever part of the song you need looped seamlessly. unlike the other apps where you have to painstakingly, find the correct time, and loop it yourself.
