App started off great, i got a cash advance. After that I forgot my password and tried several times to reset it and it still has let me access my account. This was a month ago. I emailed customer service several times, but have received an auto generated reply with instructions to reset password, and that does not work either. There is no way to talk to a customer service rep. Would not recommend app.

I noticed that when I went to apply for a cash advance, the last 4 numbers of the checking account listed were not the last 4 numbers of my checking account. I relinked my account to try and correct this, but the same thing happened. I'm not about to get a cash advance just so it can go to someone else's checking account just so I can pay it back.
This app has no support besides an automated response system. You can't get in contact with anyone at any time no one ever emails you back like they are supposed to. You pay advances in time, forget it , and if you have a bad bank connection and they will not fix you, leaving you high and dry. This is incredibly by far the worst cash advance app out there. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone!!
Was great and worked well when I downloaded it the first time. After I paid back my first advance they offered me $10, and I didn't think I would make use of that so I closed my account. When I tried to reopen it later, I was denied and informed that account closures are permanent. This is not made clear when you close the account. They still send you promo emails tho... after verifying they won't allow you to reopen your account.
I used to love this app. It really comes through when you're in a pinch. I worked my way up to the maximum borrow amount. I repay on time every time. For some reason, which I hope is a glitch, this time it will only let me borrow $25 which is only a tenth of the maximum amount. I'm not removing this review until this is corrected. I've already contacted support but only heard back from the automated bot which told me they tried to charge my card but it was unsuccessful only that's not true.
I was able to get an advance the first time but after paying back I wasn't able to get a second. Incorrect bank information was listed even though I connected Plaid multiple times. Tried reaching out to support but never got a reply :( really disappointed this app was pretty convenient at the start. It also said I needed to update the app but I have it set on auto update. Definitely some bugs need fixing.
I, too, rated the app 5 stars initially. But after paying back 2 advances, the app kept giving an error message. I relinked my bank through plaid and everything appeared to be fine, but when I requested a cash advance I got an error that it could not verify my info through plaid, even though it had just been verified. chatbot no help. No live agent or number to contact. Not good guys. The sane problem for over a month. I will revise if the problem is ever resolved.
Started good, no problems. Then I did an instant transfer but didn't realize my debit card was locked so payment didn't go through. I unlocked and went to try again and it says "sorry payment failed and we won't try again" something like that. An AI answers emails and offers no help. Then maybe weeks later a person responds. What kind of app can't try to resend payment again?????? So frustrating
I have had problems from day one the past few weeks, and it keeps saying issues with plaid. There is no number to call, so you have to email support. Well, it turns out I have an account, and my husband had an account and has had for a year, and now they told us both close our accounts, so that is just what we did. Had we known one of us could have deleted our account, but they did not say that, so I wouldn't recommend this app at all. No help at all unwilling to even help solve the issue!!!
Worst service out of all other cash advance apps. I signed up and provided the basic information they asked for, and was then denied as I didn't pass identity verification. I reached out to support to see how I could provide additional documentation like my ID, etc so that I could be verified, but was informed that once their system makes this baseless decision, there's nothing I or they can do to reverse it. Just crazy.
I have used this app, and it was great. Then, I kept having issues connecting by account. So, I closed my account. I reinstalled, and they are now saying, "Once you close account, that it's a permanent action, and will not be allowed to ever reopen. I just closed until I could resolve the bank issue, not knowing I would never get to use the app again . Makes absolutely no sense.
It says an update is needed, but sends you right back to playstore, which only says "open," and into an endless loop. Then, I'm referred to the chat feature. The bot is of no help, and refuses requests to connect a customer service agent. It simply offers to "help" until it can't, then goes into a loop based on limited preset problems that do not resolve the issue.
Your app can't even verify my identity, and considering it never even occurred to me that could ever be a problem, well, you have a problem, and it is this app which is awful. Oh well, I don't have time to deal with fixing your problem so there went another potential customer like so many others in the reviews. Seems like something you people would care about more...
I was trying to create an account. I supplied all the necessary info and then was asked if it was correct and when I confirmed it shows a pop up saying my email isnt the correct email. So i thought I accidentally was trying to sign in and not sign up. so I cleared the app and started over and tried using a different email and the same thing happened . why offer to allow me to create an account and then treat me like Im trying to sign in instead? I will just take my business elsewhere!
I had high hopes for this app, but unfortunately, the customer support was disappointing. Due to a simple mistake—locking my debit card—the system failed my advance, and they told me there’s nothing they can do. Worse, they said I might never be able to use the app again. A frustrating experience overall._
asks for all this information and then when you get to the last step it freezes there. it keeps asking me to setup biometrics to log in, I did and the screen would not disappear. I opened and closed the app 3 different times, got all new security codes sent to my phone . I tried selecting both yes and no to set up biometrics but it didn't seem to matter the same thing kept happening no matter what I pressed and it will not go off of that screen! seems like a way to fish for peoples information
I just received my 3rd cash advance today. so far it's very helpful and convenient. thank you guys so much. edit review: I was able to get 6 cash advance then it stopped updating when the amount was paid and that makes it impossible to receive another advance. I don't make alot of money and having access to extra money is comforting. when I contacted support they blamed it on my bank and said they need to update their side. I've been waiting 2 months. it's not my bank. super disappointed
Like most in the reviews, all started out just fine. Went back for another advance and all of the sudden started being denied for unknown reason. Now, even though it constantly asks to be updated, once I open app, it just freezes on the logo screen and I can't get it to open. Don't waste your time with this one. Seems there is always an issue lately.
This app is a JOKE! I waited until 2 weeks before my check deposited to get a advance. y'all denied me for an advance when I have more than enough left over to pay back double the amount they give for a cash advance. I was hit hard this month and just needed some extra money and this app let me down. even worse is I can't find a way to update my debit card information as I had to get a new debit card. FIX THIS and I will give a better star rating and review!
The software seems to be buggy. When entering the information the system seems to hang, and then log out, which may be preventing my information processing my identity correctly. The system gives no clue or reason, and instead auto logs out for some reason or auto populates the standard greeting "your identity could not be verified" upon logging back in. With all the competition out there, they should try to do better. It's also a red flag when you notice they don't respond to complaints.
