Reviews for Money Lover – Money Manager

I switched from the iPhone and was looking for a good, easy to use budget phone app. I downloaded about ten, and I liked this one the most so I bought premium, and while at first there were a few bugs, I worked past that and have found the app is extremely useful in tracking my finances. Update: still using it as of 8/6/19 and still loving it! I recommend it to everyone. Every week I do my budget and put it in here.

I've been using this app for years. But suddenly their transition to paid subscription only is a joke. Because the features they consider are free to use are a joke and I can do that on any note taking app. Sadly I'll be moving to the other options on the play store app catalog that will at least offer me so basic features for tracking finances.

The constant popups to buy the app were annoying. But now with downgrading the free version by moving some basic features to the paid version instead of improving the app (like seeing previous month transactions) it's too much. Also, the payment options are not clear. You got too greedy and now it's time to move to another budget app and leave this one.

I wish I didn't pay for this. The app design is fantastic, but then you get to the functioning portion of it and damn...why in the world is everything based per account? Categories are per account...budgets are per account (meaning if you send $20 on one card and $20 on another you won't hit a $40 budget)... it's so annoying and makes this a nightmare to configure.

I have been using the app for years and it is a great app for tracking all your expenses. There have been a few fumbles along the way due to updates, but right now it is solid. I really like the combined categories. Originally I was not a fan but over time I got to like them. Their support is good but a little on the slower side, so youmight have to wait a few days to get a response. Overall a great app and I like the 1 time payment option they have instead of a subscription.

I am a premium user and have used the app since 7 years ago. After the last large update I lost all my data. It was so frustrating! Prior to that large update, I used money lover religiously to keep track of my expenses and income. The multiple wallet function was great in that I was able to easily keep track of multiple accounts. If only they gave the option to revert it back to the last update so I could keep my data or give a way to successfully port the old data to the new update.

Previously had issues with wallet sharing but it looks fixed now. Also the introduction of tags addresses the need I had to include Events in the exports, so that's a nice change as well. Sync is still spotty at times though, specifically on shared wallets e.g. some transactions added on one phone nevwr syncs to other phone, even after telling the app to sync. Bumping up to 3/5 stars.

Tried so many expense tracking, budgeting apps but this one surpasses! I've been using the this for over 2 years now. Sync's across my phone and computer. From customizing categories and sub categories to adding who, what, where, when to each transaction. Go brief, go detailed your choice. Plus, download to your own Excel worksheet for added enjoyment for those of us who love working with our numbers. I upgraded to the premium, lifetime, for one low cost. Extremely worth it!!

I have enjoyed using this app to track my money for years, but recently I switched to a new phone. When trying to restore my recurring transactions, I found that I now can only have 1 recurring transaction without paying $35 for a premium account. That's pretty scummy for a feature that was once free and is standard in most money tracker apps. I will be switching to a new app to track my expenditures.

A good looking app compared to most but they want a up front payment of 16$ and a month subscription to do what the others do for free. they also advertise like hell. their website has articles about saving money. on mobile half the screen is covered with an ad telling you to get their app and pressing the X to remove it just makes it shift slightly. doesn't remove it. In the middle of the article writen into it they advertise a icon package that you can buy on their app for 5$ sorry (4900 coins)
