Reviews for Money Manager Expense & Budget

I don't use most of what this App is capable of. That said, as a low-effort way to track spending for later review, it is superb. The more you use it, the smarter it gets, with predictions, charts, and easy ways to copy recurring transactions. I may yet track more financials, but as nothing more than a spend tracker, it has been immensely useful.

Well, I never saw a tutorial, so it took me a bit of trial and error to figure things out. Installments and Recurring Payments were annoying to get setup properly as was figuring out several other settings. Overall, the layout feels rough though significantly better than using a spreadsheet. Once I figured it out and set things up, it was nice being able to see where my accounts would be at the end of the month. I'll keep using it unless I find something better. The PC manager sounds cool.

I loved loved loved this app. It was easy to use, incredibly helpful at letting me visualize my financials, kept track of everything, and had great graphics and tools. But I had to stop using it because I can't figure out how to sync it to my husband's device as well. If there is a way or if a way can be made to have like one account on multiple devices I would go back to this in an instant, but it's too hard to manage my family's finances without letting them have an up to date visual of it.

This app is perfect. It doesn't have flashy colored icons, which at first I thought I'd miss. But it's been just a joy to use nonetheless. Some features I need: recurring transactions, future transactions, custom categories, pie chart, category budgets, and most importantly, the ability to make negative transactions (returns and refunds) as part of the original expense category! It's all here! Wish I'd found it sooner.

Works perfectly with a user friendly interface. The ability to make backups or export data to a spreadsheet makes it reliable. I've been using this app for a couple years now and my only problem is that with the most recent update I can no longer adjust the order of budget categories under the "total" tab. I did have them organized but now they are in a randomly ordered list. Maybe there is a different way to reorder them now but if not this is a feature I will miss.

The app is very comprehensive. You get to log in essentially everything that you need, even entering different foreign currencies. Very handy for those loving abroad. Perhaps because of this complexity, sometimes the app misses things. E.g. one issue is that the way the transactions are registered is confusing, so much so that the app doesn't reflect the running tally accurately.

Best manager I've found (which is why I ultimately bough the none free version). Easy to input values, see what you have, see patterns, know what you have, and include notes. The only improvement I desire is a way to split categories per purchase (meal & tip for a restaurant, food & health & pet supply for a grocery store, principal & interest for a loan payment). I could do separate entries but I'd prefer to do it in one purchase.

Very nice, but not quite as robust as my current app (ExpenseIQ) I'm using, but it runs much smoother. If they added the ability to save and quick select the store we purchased from I'd switch. Like, if I were to purchase from Amazon, or my monthly expense (Amazon Prime), were named (drop-down and autocomplete) without needing to type it on memos each transaction I would migrate to this app in a heartbeat.

This is a fantastic app. It keeps record for your income and expenses very well. You can see your daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly financial record. I wish it displayed your income vs expense in graphic as well. As of right now you can see your expanses or income in graphic, but one is not able to see a combination of both in one general graph. Other than that, it is fantastic.

Very good app but the ads after each entry are very annoying. Especially since a lot of them are very loud. Imagine eating at a nice restaurant and then your phone starts "screaming." Or trying to enter some things before you go to sleep and you get those loud apps. Besides that, it is a good app that is a great toll for anyone who wants to budget well.

Really enjoying the app so far. It is very customizable and fairly intuitive. One thing I might add is an ability to mark transactions (transfers, expenses, etc.) as pending/scheduled, with the ability to see the total amount of pending transactions. At times, there might be a lot of flux between the settled account balances and the future balance once items settle. This would greatly improve the ability to reconcile accounts at a glance.

After testing out other budgeting apps, I find this one to be the best for a few reasons. You can add all your accounts WITHOUT linking them. I found this to be the most important thing because with other apps I had to link accounts, which is a tedious process and some accounts don't link. You have full control over virtually everything. I haven't hit a paywall yet. I will say however, if you are new to budgeting, this app isn't for you. You should have a basic understanding of book keeping.

Helps regulating your spending. There are lots of apps that can pull ctedit card spending after the fact. But there are usually miscategorizations, and they can't track cash, or show past monthly breakdowns. So they didn't help me. To truly understand your spending, you need to use this app to enter by yourself. By inputting spendings, either cash or card, you understand where your money went and then know how to save. Being able to attach receipts and show spending pi charts are also great help.

I really like the app and wish to purchase the premium version which is ad free. The only problem is i can't understand is it 549 per month, per year or lifetime. Because 549 life time is really good. For a year it's a bit much and for a month way too much. Till I don't get that clarity i won't purchase premium. You should consider tweaking the design for the premium upgrade page and the entry point for the same as well.

Seriously good. I've had this app for years now and just recently paid for the ad free version (the ads aren't intrusive, but this app is really worth supporting). It's super customizable, simple to use, and clean. The best part is that it doesn't require you to log into accounts to work- although this means you have to put everything in manually, it makes you more concious of where your money is going and your bank information will be secure in your hands alone.

Overall it wad three best of the dozen or so that I tried. That being said I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I need to be able to split transactions (for example if I spent $4 at the grocery but $2 of it was grocery and $2 was gifts then I want to be able to split the categories when I record it instead of making two different transactions). A reconcile option for monthly reconciliation would be beneficial, but not a necessity, add well. Overall great job, easy layout, good work

Quite complete money manager, best free one I've tried so far, so much so that I purchased the Paid Version. Enjoy all features it has, and I would like to submit a few feature requests as well. However, I have a few issues I'd like to bring up and request the developer look into these: 1. Exported excel file: column names are improperly named 2. Exported excel file: amount is repeated 3 times for unknown reasons 3. Exported excel file: if the app stores the time and date of the transaction, why does the excel file only store the date? I find the app very useful, but I'm giving this a 4 star rating for the points mentioned above. When these are fixed, I'm giving it a 5 star rating.

So, so close to perfection. I will only use a money app if it offers the ability to also work off of a PC, which this does and does rather well. The issue is that there is no Payee field, which seems like a basic expectation. Yes, you can enter a note. No, I don't think that's a valid solution. You also cannot mark transactions as pending, reconciled or rescinded. Another basic feature and without it, it makes it impossible to understand how your balances look in the future.

Wish there was a way to create a temporary list due for pending transactions that have not posted to get a clearer understanding of the true balance of my accounts. Adding an interest accrued option so it updates w/new balances after each statement. Since it tabulates the total loan amount, changing it is a pain. Paying lines of credit/credit cards with transfer isnt a good option. Needs an auto sync option

Phenomenal money tracking app. I love how I can display a pie chart to track my spending categories! The transaction ledger is just how I like to manage my spending and the best part is no account linking. I would like to be able to budget for bi monthly payment, basically 2 separate budgets. An example: my car payment is split 50% each check but I'm only able to put 100% due on one date. That, and cloud backup, is literally the only thing from this being the best budget app I've ever used.
