A lot of manual entry. Works well. Definitely an expense tracker more the a budget app. Would be really nice if you can set target goals for certain categories. For example if I want to limit my fast food expenditures to 200 a month. And it gives notifications such as: "Nice, you are on track! " or "Will be over budget!". But overall still works for what we need it ! Def recommend.
Reviews for Money manager & expenses
← Back to Money manager & expensesThe app would be great except the ads essentially force you to buy it. I can understand and tolerate ads in otherwise free software. The problem is that the app will freeze indefinitely while trying to load an ad that never loads. Sometimes when trying to enter a transaction, I'll need to wait an hour or more for it to become usable. I might pay for the app... but not because software bugs force me to!
i love this app because its sooo simple and easy to pick up! for me, i like the fact that i have to manually input these expenses because it makes it even more of a conscious purchase/decision. it'd be nice to see the remaining balance on categories in the weekly view as well, but i understand why it isn't. additionally, i would like more variations in the color options as some of the colors are a bit too 'neon' and it'd be nice to see more muted/pastel options.
This app is exactly what I've been looking for. I can keep track of all my accounts in on place. One of my favorite things is the charts where you can see your income, profits, expenses and losses. One thing I might suggest is auto charge. I have a few bills that are the same monthly and would prefer not to manually input every month. Otherwise. Fantastic app!!!
It has really pleasant UI and makes it super easy to track your spending. I've been trying to budget better and so far (only a week in) it's been great. It allows you to choose categories for whatever you spend your money on and the color coordination helps me personally. It's also lowkey satisfying to do and it has definitely made me more aware of what eats up my paycheck the most. Also, the logo is cute, I wish the pig stayed on the app itself tho. Highly recommend!
This is a great app for tracking expenses and income through multiple accounts, and even multiple currencies (exchange rate consistent with bank statement!). The only improvement that I can suggest is adding the ability to see transactions per account, for reconciliation purposes (aha! I just saw how to do this! So this app is perfect!!!). There are ads but they aren't too annoying except that you have to wait for the entire ad to run, but the volume on the ad can be turned off.
Has all the features I expected. So far it's free but I think even if it's paid it's worth it. You can choose dates, categories, colors, pictures. Add/Edit/Remove Categories and inputs. See your budget and Income as well as your overall balance. Not sure if there is an option to connect to a bank account but I prefer manual edits anyways. Just wonderfull. Would love to meet the person or the team behind it!! ✨
Excellent app. The only thing missed on this app, is the expenses forecast. It could be the best if we are able to put the month expenses forecast, to track if we are on line with revenue and to compare the actual expenses. This must be showed also on chart for better view. Data input: We should be able - To choose the date. - To select if it's recurrent or not. Daily, weekly or monthly. - The amount. - To select the account. - To select the category. - To add comment.
So far it is a good way to track daily expenses. It has only been a few days but I like the personalized categories; the colors help me to sort bills, and rearrange as I use them. I found dark mode is better just because lighter colors don't show up against the white. If the category label remained black it would be helpful. I am using it and ignoring the pop up ads.
Very nice app for keeping track of expenses. One thing I think can really improve though - when selecting the category for an expense, there is very little space for the name of the category. Especially when I may break down a category into multiple subcategories (eg. Food & Bev: Groceries, Food & Bev: Restaurants, Food & Bev: Alcohol, etc) I can only see the first few characters, making it hard to tell which one I'm selecting. Another suggestion on that note - subcategories would be awesome.
This app is honestly great. I use it so much that I paid the fee to remove the ads which I usually never do (the fee is very small and is a one time purchase). Some things that I would like to see: 1. More app customization and widgets (ex. The app "theme" is green but being able to change to blue or another colour would be nice) 2. Being able to have a more calendar like budget view to see upcoming expenses and an actual budget planner that lets you know if you've gone over your budget, etc.
I'm getting a grip on my finances thanks to this app. I would love to see you add the option of splitting transactions between categories- say I go shopping and buy groceries, pet supplies and household products with one swipe of the card. It would be great if I could list that as one transaction but all 3 categories rather than divide it up into 3.
Overall, it is a very basic money tracker allowing you to setup your own budget for any custom categories you'd like to make. You'll see the amount of money spent or gained on each categories over the course of multiple different time ranges (Weekly, monthly, yearly, and custom ranges). The manual labor of writing down each purchase is a great habit to keep on eye on your expenses. I only wish it allows for single purchases made for future days.
Good app, but very manually intensive. Every entry must be manually entered on the day of or previous days. No way to set reoccurring salary, debt, payments, etc. Or to do anything with a future date. This app is only good if you don't have a lot transactions on your account. If you have more than one account and lots of auto transactions this will not work for you.
This is more of an expe se tracker than budgeting app. I would like to see a place to put all of my budget in for the month so I can put them all in at the beginning of the month to see what bills i need to plan for over the whole month. This app allows you to put in expenses after the fact but there's no way to put in a future one thats coming up as far as I can tell. It would also be nice to have the income and expense total together so you don't have to switch back and forth.
This app is amazing for cash budgeting with the option to add more accounts as needed. Doesn't require you to attach a bank account to be able to use the app (as no app should, but most do). App works perfectly without glitches. I just really wish there was subcategories. As an example, within a "Food" category you could have subcategories of "Resturaunts" and "Groceries". That would be amazing.
I like that I can enter in regular payments that will automatically add, and I can customize tags to track trends along with categorizing my payments. What I don't like is on regular payments, you can't add a tag, you have to go to the charge in transactions to add it. I have been having trouble with the balance being off way off, and its not easy to figure out the issue. I ended up just clearing the totals on my cards to reflect what my banking apps show as the totals currently.
I want an app that will keep track of how much I am spending in each category that I have. For example, food, pets, eating out. It is easy to enter, but after that the app is a big fail. Nowhere can I find a running total. There are charts and lists of each entry but that is all. Not what I need at all. Also the app added income that I hadn't entered. I plan on deleting this app and starting over.
Very easy to use, not many ads. Would be nice to search all transactions by account. For example, I'd like to match all my entries for my credit card to what I see on my credit card statement so I know there are no charges I didn't make. It could also be really nice if I could link my credit card and I would get a text every time the credit card was used with an option to transfer information about the charge into the app.
This app has been very helpful. I enjoyed no adds (or very quick ones) for a good bit but they have gotten a lil longer or more repetitive when you interact with it. Still great app. Make sure you double check the balance total... It adds last month(s) profit to your balance which I'm not sure if there is an option to have it not do that. You can manually change the number that one time (per new month) and you should be good to go
