Reviews for Monkey - make new friends

I recently discovered the app uses a “Hot Mode” that influences match results, but there’s no clear explanation or option to turn it off. This feature is not disclosed anywhere in the app, which feels deceptive. I do not want to be part of this mode and should have been given a choice. I’m asking for either: A way to disable Hot Mode immediately, or A full refund for my purchase. Please respond promptly.

It's very fun and I have made friends on it but but they are some weird people on there, but other than that its good

changing pfp says "enable storage" as It already is, and It's not working. add on the max 1h call, and you gotta buy coins. It is just dumb

everytime I try to get on a Duo with a friend, it takes a long while, but both of our wifi connection is alright. when she sends me a link to go on a Duo call, it takes me straight to the monkey app website so I could log in AGAIN when I'm already logged into the app and when I do so, IT LOGS ME OUT THE APP and I'm logged in onto the website. I find it a big annoying issue.

They have increased the subscription fee of Monkey + yet the customer service is HORRIBLE. i wish i had checked out all the comments before paying for subscription. Got banned in the middle of a decent conversation and now they are not even willing to refund me. SCAM SCAM SCAM

App is super glitchy and I keep having to sign out and back in to get it to work. Then it kicked me out for too many attempts....

its a nice app thou but its a once video call one you make a video call with a foreigner and he or she ends the call I think that is the end of u people interaction no chat place its looks like a live thing I gave it's two star because it's has different countries u can make videos call with

Look The app is very nice but the problem is you guys are making the probability of meeting a woman like 0 just to be ( must subscribe and pay money.) this is bad you can make the probability of meeting a man and a woman same but if you want only womans you must subscribe that sounds more fair

this is the stupidest most scammy app ever I want you to pay to match with people on the other side of the planet really nobody local I would give this app half a star if I could. don't waste your time on this stupid app it's a complete waste of time and money.

HORRIBLE moderation. I'll get called the N word, see people waving their guns and straps all willy-nilly back to back, and all around have to interact with the most mean spirited folks on this damn app — and yet /I/, GET A BAN ON MY ACCOUNT??? Yeah, no. Y'all need to get it together and actually look into a system that protects people genuinely just using the app as a means to chill and connect with people. Cuz bad actors get away with so much on here.. its ridiculous.

Phone overheats and loses signal within 10 minutes of use. App is very nice BUT literally zero support. I've got a problem, clicked support, asked the question, it sent me a few articles but when you tell it that it didn't help, it just says sorry. Hello? You don't have support agents??? Ridiculous

Wrost app I ever used in my life... I never recommend this wrost, dirty, bad app. People are skipping without any reason, I took subscription for a month and the next day i cancelled the subscription on this bad app. Never take subscription on this app, this is completely waste of money Never ever invest money for this app, Waste of time and money It's a complete bad experience for me Please refund my subscription money back to my upi bank account. This app is a total waste of money and time.

Had premium for 6 months with no problem, then randomly got banned mid conversation with a girl. I didn't do anything as I never show anything inappropriate. So the ban was by mistake, and then I appealed, and that also failed. So they got it wrong twice, and usually, my appeals work saying they say they found nothing wrong and the system got it wrong. I contacted customer support, and no response after 8 days. They used to take 2-3 days. Not for paying for an unban that was by mistake.

Experienced getting banned twice without doing anything wrong. I usually come for a good chat but was banned 2 to 3 times without any reason. either someone flagged me for no reason , else by the site. whatever was it is, I hate this app due to it. There should be a system to check whether a person has really done anything against policy before banning them

needs to be removed from the market, I wanted to try and meet new people, but almost everyone on this app is either racist, underage, extremely rude mean and cruel, harassment is a big issue, constant lies about ages, no actual way to verify your age. app is absolutely disgusting and full of the worst people ever. it needs AI age verification and an ID upload option. parents - dont let your child download. this is a cess pool of an app and they dont do anything about underage individuals.

I hate that the chats during a videocall is not disappearing, it's like it's blocking your callmate's face. Also, the video of me when I'm calling someone is too big and it should be movable and not retaining in the upper right of the call. unlike in WhatsApp and other video call platforms ur video in the call can be moved. the premium cost is too high for not so good feautures and quality.

I am paying about $28 dollars a month and wait more than 2 hours to speak to a stranger. someone after like 2 hours just is a joke 5 minutes or 10 minutes is okay but 2 hours after I am paying $28 is a waste of money guys there is no way to contact them either. disappointed heavily..

If I'm being honest, there should be an option for teenagers to use the app, I'm not saying to mix them in with people over 18. I'm suggesting two separate servers, one for teenagers and one for adults. I'm saying this because over half of the population in the app are teenagers, and the people overage obviously don't like it. So why not just make a teenager mode

The app is really nice and easy to use, but here is one request -- You can make a different server or app for only teenagers, as people just start lying about their age to speak with each other

I dont like how yall do that dumb a $$ shi you would say if you wanna only match with girls then watch an ad I would watch an ad then you would start the count down for the limit amount of time that I have for only match with females you start the countdown while the ad is playing instead of starting the countdown when the ad is over yall just tryna get people to watch ads and trick people saying if they watch your ad you can get a min for only matching with girls
