Slow loading, but great content, worth paying. I just wished there was a Windows 10 version, because running through bluestacks is not ideal, and don't really wanna buy another tablet just for it. Performance issues should also be mostly gone on regular PCs.
Reviews for Montessori Preschool, kids 3-7
← Back to Montessori Preschool, kids 3-7My son’s teacher recommended I download The Kindergarten Montessori to help him with his reading as he was having some trouble. We’ve been using it for months and he is really improving! He’s starting to become such a confident reader, I can’t recommend this program enough. Loves the game way of learning, preschool games are fun, really helpful.
We work with our three-year-old daily on various learning activities, and she’s doing well! However, I feel this app is a powerful learning tool that has helped round out her recognition of letters and various concepts. Playing preschool games is just so much fun and I am so happy she loves it. It keeps her focused in a way that our lessons sometimes don’t. I highly recommend it!
I am absolutely beside myself! I cannot begin to describe how much I love this app! I played with the trial version for about 6 months to make sure it was what I was looking for. I have been using the paid service for about 5 months with 2 students. I did have some reservations about some holiday content, but there is a setting to turn those off. This is truly a montessori at home experience. I have also found some of the math material to be helpful for my older kids. I love, love, LOVE it!
can not rate it as it allows only after i agree to 7 days free and pay... nope not gonna subscribe to this
Pathetic experience...when I had not taken any kind of subscription then why they have deducted my money that too for 6 month when I opted for a 3 month... I have unsubscribed it before the 7 day trail class...and u say that u will not be charged. I want my money back...this why u people take the card details so that u can charge them like this...I want my money back...its is not at all a good app. I don't wanted to give u any start but if i will not do so my review will not post.
My kid is only 3.5 and we read to him every night but I never really pushed him to sound things out or write on his own. Then he started playing around on this app and he’s SO INTO IT! He is starting to recognize “sight words” and tries spelling and sounding out words in our nighttime stories. Thank you so much for this app.
Agree with another comment made down below.. Really dangerous to teach little ones to shake a whole pill bottle in to their mouth!! Thankfully I watch all the games my daughter plays. It's also really laggy when pressing (and it's not the tab we bought a really good one and it's the same on every thing we have the game on) when she touches the screen it's really 50/50 if it even registers she's pressed it or not. So unfortunate because this game has so much potential. Also graphics need work.
This game is great for my son. My 3-year-old son. He loves this app. He learned many things while on this app. He learned to distinguish the colors, the shapes that various objects. Sound and pictures are so great, very lively. I find this a very good game to train my son thinking ability and thinking. He learned a lot of rhymes and everything. Thank so much for this app.
So much potential! Love the activities in this app. I purchased it, so should have access to it all however certain parts don't work. Right now the beehive activity isn't working, the calendar wasn't working earlier. It fluctuates and disappointed my toddler when he get his special time to "play" on this app. Also it gets really slow and glitchy and I am using a brand new device that is updated. So a little disappointment, but wish it would always work!!
We homeschool and my son (just turned 6) is so dang brilliant! Sometimes, however, certain things do not hold his interest. Reading is one of those things. We’ve tried different curriculum, workbooks, other apps, flashcards, reading books, youtube videos... nothing held his attention (and other apps left him wandering around the page without actually working on the educational part of it). The Kindergarten Montessori is the only app that has held his attention. It’s also the only app that is MAKI
I like it. My kids love it and it's educational. My two-year-old daughter will be playing it and also giving them access to all kinds of rhymes. I love that they make it fun and there are mini-games after fully completing a puzzle. This Montessori app is wonderful, particularly for times with the little one needs to be quiet. Thank you!
You can choose which activities to keep in the game so we use it mainly for chinese. Plenty of quality content. The reward system is great! There's a store for the child to buy things like t-shirts or toys or a train game where extra buildings/trees/etc. can be bought with the 'money' won.
Pretty much everything you click on says subscribe for $10 a month. The main page has a big subscribe button. Everywhere you go there's a subscribe button on the page and it's in you face. Every area is locked except for a few here and there where you can do the first 1 or 2 levels. Not something my 3 year old likes.
Good luck getting the sluggish app to download. I would be concerned about viruses. It's supposed to be free with the play pass. However, when it finally downloaded, I was required to sign up for a subscription and offered a 7-day trial. If it is not actually available on the play pass, why list it there? My child got so disappointed waiting & waiting & waiting for this junk to download...then once it did, nothing but problems. I un-installed and attempted to reinstall...nope. Waste of time

Had app ~1 month, new tablet. Having an issue in last week or so that after some time playing, it logs us out and won't let us log back in until we restart our tablet completely. We will click 'reconnect' but never get past the email input screen; it just shows the 'cog spinning' and then the cog disappears, but the screen never moves forward to the password input screen. Even force stopping the app won't let us log in again, it's quite annoying to constantly have to reboot the entire tablet.
I tried the 7 day trial, and the app is well constructed with a lot of diversity (very well made to help children move forwards educationally). The cost at the moment isn't something I can afford, and I mistakenly unsubscribed too late (which at first caused my account to be billed), but I was able to resolve the problem with the customer service representatives (they were very quick in responding, and addressed the situation appropriately). I highly recommend the app and the company.
Hi I tried the free version on iPad and it worked well. However when I wanted to downloaded it on a Samsung tablet, I couldn't get through I chose yearly subscription, it asked me to enter the birth year, I tried and my son, both didn't work. I clicked the cross and it kept loading However when I tried to add another kid and entered my birth year, it's ok. Please let me know how it can be fixed as I want to subscribe it when it's half price.
It's interesting. Some of it works pretty well, some of it is pretty frustrating and also impossible to navigate: for instance, the language games. They're ALL in Mandarin w/ no option to change this anywhere. My daughter doesn't have any background in Mandarin, and the games require a basic understanding of the language. I may update with more areas that could stand to be improved upon. It's a neat concept. Just wish it was better executed. And, as someone else commented, it is sluggish - even on our fairly decent tablet.
