Reviews for Moshi Kids: Sleep, Relax, Play

I’ve been a loyal Moshi user since 2021, but recent updates have made the app nearly unusable. I have it on three devices, but every night I must uninstall and reinstall it on the last device I set up. It now logs me out constantly and shows “network issue” errors, even when my connection is fine. I have to force close it multiple times for it to work. This is so frustrating, and I hope these issues are resolved soon. I want to love this app again!

A lot of great sounds for bedtime, I basically changed our entire bed time game. Only mom was able to nurse him to sleep until we discovered this app. My 1 problem is with the functionality of the lock/sleep screen widget. Left and Right arrows on either side of the pause button only result in reversing/fast-forwarding the track what sounds to be a predetermined amount t of time. I don't see how this could be useful at all in this setting. I'd prefer if it just restarted the track or skipped.

This app works wonders for my son. He used to fight sleep and now he looks forward to it! The stories are awesome and relaxing. The greatest thing is that some of their relaxation songs and such can also be used during time outs and anxiety attacks. It has been not only a bedtime hero for us but also an anxiety reliever. It works for adults too!!!! There are a lot of people judging the 39.99 a year subscription but think about it for a second.... you spend more on a cup of coffee or bag of chips than that averages out to per month. Its literally 3.34 a month. For nighttime rescues, peaceful sleep, and a much healthier child its definitely worth it.

Great app bought it for the year. Was excited to renew until I saw they upped price to 60 dollars a year. That is to much to pay yearly let alone out of pocket right now thanks to there being little job security. I just can't justify that for a music app. Then I went on my sons fire tablet and noticed it says the normal 7 days free then 35 a year which is what I expected to pay. I loved it but will not pay 60 instead of what I paid last year of 35 to be a "returning" customer.

My kids love this app, and so do I, but it never stays connected to the Bluetooth speaker. I've tried repeating the same music and putting on playlists but it still disconnects. I've also tried changing the settings in my phone, still won't work. It is such a great option to use bluetooth, I just wish it was a little more reliable.

It used to work quite nicely. I had a good playlist for getting my daughter to sleep. My wife had her own playlist she would use. A couple months ago her playlist began just playing one song and stop. Mine eventually started having the same issue, but rebooting my phone would fix it. After the latest update even that doesn't work anymore. If this isn't fixed by the time our subscription ends, we won't be renewing. Pretty crummy for such an expensive subscription.

1. it really does help my difficult sleeper get to sleep and I did purchase the full app. 2. I did purchase the full app and I think the full price up front is a bit obnoxious. That being said, I don't mind paying for it but I feel like a monthly fee should be an option and that more people would use it. Some people may not even need it for a full year. 3. a transcript of the stories would be great. I dont really need my 1 year old hearing about social media or framing someone for a crime.

My 2 year old loves Moshi to fall asleep to at night. Usually, this isn't an issue because she is fast asleep but a GLARING issue that I'm having right now is that the playlists dont work. It'll play one and then disconnect from google home and it's done. What is the point of a playlist?? Having more story controls would be super helpful too. The repeat control doesn't work either. Very annoying when you have a cranky teething toddler that won't let you sleep because she wakes up everytime.

Edit: So much has changed since my last review. Moshi just keeps getting better and better. I wish I could connect to our Sonos speaker though. I really enjoy this app. It does work great. However, I prefer the lady voice over the men voices, and there aren't as many which I found surprising. The woman's voice is so soothing for my daughter and myself too. 5 stars if there were more and a way to search by story teller voices.

I love this app. It was money well spent, just for the factor of making bedtime less stressful. I have a 6 year old and bedtime is very tough some nights because he just can't switch his mind off (ADHD) and those nights he would be up till almost midnight. On bad nights we go through a story and a half, and most nights we don't even get through one. I also love the factor that the subscription can go on up to 3 devices and you don't need internet to use it (after you download the story).
