I used to love this app. So much so that I subscribed and pay $9.99/year for it. I've had it for about 3 or 4 years. However, I find myself using it less and less lately because they have been slipping more adds into the app even though I'm already paying for it and they constantly spam me to pay more for more features. I'm very disappointed with this app lately and I'll likely cancel my subscription soon.

I don't think so. The quotes are shallow and expensive. Only 3 days of free use then $22 a year? Want something quick and easy? This may do it for you. Or if you are too depressed or need to be spoon-fed. If you prefer your quotes more meaningful? 3 years @$22/year buys $65 of "like new books" at alibris or other used book store. Type in the quotes. That helps seal them in your memory. Use screenshots, copy and paste from websites, download images, etc. Put them in evernote, onenote, word.

Great motivational app where you can set how often you get motivational reminders. I use the push notifications and the widget. You can choose what categories of motivation and you can change the style of how they look and there are many to choose from. I have been a paid subscriber for many years. I recommend the paid subscription. It is worth it to have positive notifications coming to your phone daily. Thank you for this app!!

This app really has helped me stay positive and take on new ways of looking at situations in my life, however, I can't give it a 5 star review for the following reason: I turned on the frequency that I receive each quote, and it will send them through out the day, but only for that day that I opened the app, even though I have scheduled the delivery of quotes to be sent out every day. I've paid for the app, and wasn't expecting it to be so flighty about when/if it sends me quotes.

At first I was getting quotes regularly. My phone put the app to sleep since I didn't open it and it took me a couple months to realize that. Everything was good with getting quotes that were really relevant before and after, until a couple weeks ago. I've stopped getting the quotes regularly and have been getting constant requests for the premium. To me that now feels more like this app is a money grab app. I would say setting the app up where we can't get this notification would be great.

Update : I love this app, when I am down or angry reading the words makes me genuinely feel better. So I paid for the full version! But after a few weeks of having it, it crashed and wouldn't come back. Update: after another reinstall, everything works great. But now I'm a new user and all my favorites I had collected. (100s) are lost. 😢 There should be a sign in option so that could be retained. This should definitely be part of the premium package. I'd love to update again to 5 stars if fix

I had an issue with my app crashing when I wanted to pick a theme. The screen would go black and turn off. Sometimes is gave me options to send feedback. I emailed them to notify them of this issue. They sent me an email right away telling me it was a known issue and they were making an update to fix the problem within 2 days. They fixed it and it's up and running great again! All done in a timely manner. Very happy 😊

Wouldn't mind the subscription fee if the app actually worked!! At least once per day the widget sits empty and won't update until I manually open the app. Notifications only work sporadically no matter how many times I set them up. This week I noticed it had been some days since any motivations had popped up at all. Upon launching the app, it walked me through the initial setup again and I was dismayed to find that my custom filters and saved favorites were gone! Save your money.

I personally think Motivation is a great app! It's really motivating for me especially because I always think negative when it comes to school/grades, i get stressed out or think I won't be able to make it. So, every morning before I go to school, i read a couple of quotes before I leave and it really helps me out with my stress and anxiety. I recommend this app to those who need it, those who have anxiety, stress, or just any sort of problems you need to release.

Absolutely incredible! It seems as though the quotes that I get sent throughout the day go right along with what's going on in my life at that time. Whether the app is listening, or simply just set to randomized topics, I don't care. I'll read aloud whatever my notification says to my friends around me, especially if it pertains to the current circumstances, or if I feel like someone in the room needs to hear the message. This app definitely has lifted my spirits, and helps keep me positive.
