Reviews for Motool Service Assistant
← Back to Motool Service AssistantBest suspension setting device ever.
Blue Tooth is not consistent. Horrible customer service. Huh? Its your attitude and reluctance to admit your wrong.
Works great if you need to do it alone.
I have used this product for some time now. Now to see and app for it is pretty cool. . I will follow up with some flow up comments. .
Very useful for adjusting suspension
Needs a few tweaks in the app. But I love this tool
John is the man!!! Killer product and outstanding customer service. So proud of this tool! Thanks, Motool!
Responsive customer service, and a very simple, informative, user friendly app! Useful for storing settings and referring back to during future servicing.
Simple and effective. Set your sag all by yourself. My bikes weren't listed in the app, but John hooked me up same day, on a weekend. Great product, works as advertised, and top notch support! Buy one!
Love the new version. I wish I could find where I access those new pop-up help tips that activated this 1st time I ran the new version. Overall, though, very nicely done ✔️
It's rare that I find an app that is so well thought out and functions so well that I feel compelled to come to the app store and give it 5 stars. Even if I didn't have a slacker, I would use this app just for its notes.
It's a great app and has a lot of info for lots of different bikes. But it doesn't have my bike. So I can't use it. Update: Older bikes back to the year 2000 recently been added. So now I'm using this app and it's really helpful. Thank you!
Requires an account even to start up. It makes me hesitate buying the slacker v4 tool, because I'm almost forced to buy the remote as well. That's $190 for what basically replaces a measuring tape... Update: As I can't respond to the developer comments, I'll do it here: 1. The forced account is unnecessary. Online storage should be optional. 2. I understand the tool has benefits, that's why I looked at the app. The must-have account makes the tool more expensive and allows no preview without.
Awesome app companion to the tool Can not speak highly enough of the support these guys have given, added my bike details overnight and sorted out some issues I had with my account. Incredibly responsive. The app is easy to use and great resource to have with the Motool. Highly recommended
I was having issue getting my Samsung s21 to connect to the slacker tool. I emailed customer support and had a response and solution within an hour. I ended up having to put my phone into airplane mode, restarting the phone, then turning off airplane mode. I initially planned on only using this app as a display, but found the setup and notes section to be well laid out and comprehensive.
Hmmm! It's just documentation repeated within an app. I was expecting to at least see a simple calculator so that I can just punch-in numbers and get the total slack result. I also found a huge discrepancy between the settings suggested in the printed documents, and the ones in the app. Pretty much worthless at the moment.
I have been loving the tool for a year or so. I have had several contacts with John and found Motool to have great customer support and a willingness to implement suggestions and fixes. The new update had a bug and they jumped right on it. Good Job John.
DONT BUY THIS TOOL OR SUBSCRIPTION! I really love the tool, but I just got an email stating there will now be a subscription fee to use "virtual assistant+" i.e. what is this app and the detailed tuning notes. Drop the subscription model and I will be absolutely happy to recommend this tool to anyone again. Let us save our tuning notes to our phone and drop the subscription model if cloud cost is the reason for switching. It really feels like a cash grab.
This app used to be free. I paid for a product that had a free app. Now you're charging subscription fees. This is a money grab and unethical business practice. Response to the developer: I am not confusing the apps. I used to be able to use the Service Assistant app for free and store my sag measurements for multiple bikes. You now force me to pay for the same features that were advertised as included, at the time of purchase of the slacker tool.
