So here's my take on MPLS Parking - I've tried a bunch of different parking apps and this one stacks up pretty well. The core functionality works reliably and it's nice to be able to manage your parking sessions without having to mess with coins or cards. The notification feature is clutch too, I've used that a bunch to avoid getting tickets. On the downside, the app can be a little glitchy at times and the time extension stuff is hit or miss. But for the most part, it's a solid option if you need to park in Minneapolis on the reg.

Description

Been using the MPLS Parking app for a couple months now. It’s basically a mobile app that lets you pay for parking and manage your sessions right from your phone. Pretty handy if you’re constantly forgetting to feed the meter.

Here’s what you do – you create an account, add your license plate, and then you can find parking spots on the map and pay for them through the app. And there’s also features like getting notifications when your time is about to expire and being able to extend your parking without having to go back to the meter. Took me a bit to figure all that out but it’s pretty straightforward once you get the hang of it.

Look, if you park in downtown Minneapolis a lot, you’ll probably find this app really useful. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a little clunky sometimes and the time extension feature doesn’t always work great. But overall it does the job and saves you a lot of hassle. Worth checking out if you need a convenient parking solution.
